8. Motion authorizing the City Manager, or his designee, to execute a Real Estate
Sales Contract with Corpus Christi Independent School District in the amount of
$72,600 plus $1,300 in closing costs for the purchase of fee simple property
rights to 2.42 acres of vacant land owned by CCISD on Paul Jones Avenue,
north of and adjacent to the City's South Guth Ball Field complex for recreational
and other public purposes in connection with the South Guth Ball Field
Relocation Project.

money required for the contract, agreement, obligation or expenditure described below is in
the Treasury to the credit of the Fund specified below, from which it is to be drawn, and
has not been appropriated -for any other purpose.
