24. Motion to authorize the City Manager or designee to execute agreement to
participate in a coalition with other Texas cities which includes the hiring of the
law firm of Miller and Van Eaton of Washington D.C., to oppose the plan by Time
Warner Cable to digitalize local public, education and government access
channels, with City's cost not to exceed $'10,000 subject to certification of funds,
and subject to ability of City to withdraw from the agreement when deemed
appropriate by the City Attorney.
