HomeMy WebLinkAbout05860 ORD - 08/10/1960AN ORDINANCE kDENDING ORDINANCE NO. 5595 PASSED AND APPROVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL ON THE 25TH DAY OF NOVEMBER, 1959, BY AAIENDING SECTION 3 OF SAID ORDINANCE, CORRECTING THE NAMES OF THE OWNERS AND CORRECTING AND ADJUSTING THE ASSESSMENTS LEVIED AGAINST ABUTTING PROPERTY OWNERS ON BALDWIN BOULEVARD FROM THE WEST BOUNDARY LINE OF PORT AVENUE TO THE SOUTH BOUNDARY LINE OF STATE HIGHWAY NO. 44, AGARITO STREET 100 FEET EAST FROM TIM NORTH BOUNDARY LINE OF BALDWIN BOULEVARD, MORGAN STREET FROM BALDWIN BOULEVARD TO MOHAWK STREET, CHEYENNE STREET 100 FEET NORTH FROM THE NORTH BOUNDARY LINE OF BALDWIN BOULEVARD AND PUEBLO AVENUE 100 FEET NORTH FROM THE NORTH BOUNDARY LINE OF BALDWIN BOULEVARD; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. COIMACI COST (Final) 1182,197 CORRECTED TOTI ASSESSMENTS 189'087. 3 I CITY'S PORTION OF CONTRACT COST $193,110.02 t v SECTION 2: The necessity for amending said Ordinance No. 5595 in order to show the real and true owners of property abutting upon Baldwin Boulevard from the West boundary line of Port Avenue to the South boundary line of State Highway No. 44, Agarito Street 100 feet from the North boundary line of Baldwin Boulevard, Morgan Street from Baldwin Boulevard to Mohawk Street, Cheyenne Street 100 feet North from the North boundary line of Baldwin Boulevard and Pueblo Avenue 100 feet North from the North boundary line of Baldwin Boulevard, and in order to correct and adjust assessment against same, creates a public emergency and an imperative public necessity, requiring the suspension of the Charter Rule that no ordinance or resolution shall be passed finally on the date of its introduction, and that said ordinance shall be read at three several meet- ings of the City Council, and the Mayor having declared that such emergency and imperative public necessity exists, and having requested that the Charter Rule be suspended and that this ordinance be passed finally on the date of its introduction and that this ordinance take effect and be in full force and effect from and after its passage, IT IS ACCORDINGLY SO ORDAINED, PASSED AND,APPROVED this the ,day of , A.
