STEIN AND COMPANY FOR THE PREPARATION OF PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR A SWIMMING POOL FOR COLLIER PARK, A COPY OF ' ^dHICH CONTRACT IS ATTACHED HERETO AND MADE A PART HEREOF; APPROPRIATING FROM NO. 111 TRUST FUND, COLLIER PARK CONSTRUCTION ACCOUNT 17119.3 THE SUM OF *2,725.00 OF WHICH AMOUNT $2,587.50 IS FOR ARCHITECTURAL FEE AND $137.50 IS FOR 301 L TEST AND BORINGS; RDVANK NG THE SUM OF .'2,725.00 FROM THE GENERAL FUND NO. 102, TO THE TRUST FUND NO. 111' TO BE REPAID UPON _THE RECEIPT OF CA FROM. THE H. E. BUTT FOND UATION UNDER THE TERMS OF CONTRACT IJO. 2058, DATED OCTOBER; 1960; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS: SECTION 1. THAT THE CITY MANAGER IS HEREBY AUTHORIZED AND DIRECTED, FOR AND ON BEHALF OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT WITH A. E. STEIN AND COMPANY FOR THE PREPARATION OF PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR A SWIMMING POOL FOR COLLIER PARK, A COPY OF WHICH CONTRACT IS ATTACHED HERETO AND MADE A PART HEREOF. SECTION 2. THERE IS HEREBY APPROPRIATED FROM NO. 111 TRUST FUND, COLLIER PARK _ CONSTRUCTION ACCOUNT 17119.31 THE SUM OF !i2,725.00 OF WHICH AMOUNT :2,587.50 IS FOR ARCHITECTURAL FEE AND 4,137.50 IS FOR SOIL TEST AND BORINGS. SECTION 3. THERE 15 HEREBY ADVANCED THE SUM OF $2,725.00 FROM IFE GENERAL FUND, ND. 102, TO THE TRU5T FUND No. 111, TO BE REPAID UPON THE RECEIPT OF CASH FROM THE H. E. BUTT FOUNDATION UNDER THE TERMS OF CONTRACT N0. 2058, DATED OCTOBER 8, 1960. SECTION 11. THE NECESSITY TO EXECUTE THE AFORESAID CONTRACT SO -(FAT THE PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS MAY BE DRAWN ON SAID SWIMMING POOL CREATES A PUBLIC EMERGENCY AND AN IMPERATIVE PUBLIC NECESSITY REQUIRING THE SUS- PENSION -OF THE CHARTER RULE THAT NO ORDINANCE OR RESOLUTION SHALL BE PASSED FINALLY ON THE DATE OF ITS INTRODUCTION AND THAT SUCH ORDINANCE OR RESOLU- TION SHALL BE READ AT THREE SEVERAL MEETINGS OF THE CITY COUNCIL, AND THE MAYOR, HAVING DECLARED THAT SUCH EMERGENCY AND NECESSITY EXIST, AND .3sC 3 HAVING REQUESTED THAT SUCH CHARTER RULE BE SUSPENDED, AND THAT THIS ORDI- NANCE BE PASSED FINALLY ON THE DATE OF ITS INTRODUCTION AND TAKE EFFECT AND BE IN FULL FORCE AND EFFECT FROM AND A, TER ITS PASSAGE, IT IS ACCORDINGLY PASSED AND APPROVED, THIS pZ DAY OF , 1,60.
