APPROPRIATING FROM NO. 236 BRIDGE BOND FUND THE
SUM OF $6,235.41 REPRESENTING COSTS OF RAILROAD
MATERIALS AND /OR CONSTRUCTION IN ACCORDANCE WITH
THE PRIMARY RAILROAD AGREEMENT PER MONTHLY ESTIMATE
N0. 5 PREPARED BY HARRINGTON & CORTELYOU FOR WORK
DONE BY THE TEXAS - MEXICAN RAILROAD, THEIR INVOICES
NOS. 818, 820, AND 822. PROJECT NO. 230- 55-8.7,_AS
A PART OF THE BRIDGE REMOVAL AND RELOCATION PROJECT;
AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS
CHRISTI, TEXAS:
SECTION 1.
THERE IS HEREBY APPROPRIATED FROM NO. 230 BRIDGE
BOND FUND THE SUM OF $6,235.41, REPRESENTING COSTS OF R IL.ROAD MATERIALS
AND /OR CONSTRUCTION IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE PRIMARY RAILROAD AGREEMENT PER
MONTHLY ESTIMATE ND. 5, PREPARED BY HARRINGTON & CORTELYOU FOR WORK DONE
BY THE TEXAS - MEXICAN RAILROAD, THEIR INVOICES NOS. 818, 820, AND 822,
PROJECT NO. 230- 55 -8.7, AS A PART OF THE BRIDGE REMOVAL AND RELOCATION
PROJECT.
SECTION 2. THE NECESSITY TO MAKE THE APPROPRIATION AS SET FORTH
IN SECTION 1 HEREIRABOVE IN ORDER THAT THE BRIDGE RELOCATION PROJECT MAY
CONTINUE WITHOUT DELAY CREATES A PUBLIC EMERGENCY AND AN IMPERATIVE PUBLIC
NECESSITY REQUIRING THE SUSPENSION OF THE CHARTER RULE THAT NO ORDINANCE
OR RESOLUTION SHALL BE PASSED FINALLY ON THE DATE OF ITS INTRODUCTION AND
THAT SUCH ORDINANCE OR RESOLUTION SHALL BE READ AT THREE SEVERAL MEETINGS
OF THE CITY COUNCIL., AND THE MAYOR, HAVING DECLARED SUCH EMERGENCY AND
NECESSITY TO EXIST, HAVING REQUESTED THE SUSPENSION OF THE SAID CHARTER
RULE AND THAT THIS ORDINANCE TAKE EFFECT AND BE IN FULL FORCE AND EFFECT
FROM AND AFTER ITS P SAGE, IT IS ACCORDINGLY PASSED AND APPROVED, THIS
