BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS
SECTION 1. THERE IS HEREBY APPROPRIATED OUT OF No. 230
BRIDGE BOND FUND THE SUM OF $7,302.35, REPRESENTING COSTS OF RAILROAD
MATERIALS FURNISHED BY T & N. 0. RAILROAD PER THEIR ESTIMATES NOS.5 AND
6 DATED DECEMBER 12, 1960, PREPARED BY HARRINGTON & CORTELYOU IN PAYMENT
OF T & N. 0. INVOICES 886267 AND 886909, APPLICABLE RESPECTIVELY TO
PROJECTS Nos. 230- 55 -8.1 AND 230 -55 -8.11,
SECTION 2. THE NECESSITY FOR IMMEDIATELY MAKING AVAILABLE
THE FUNDS HEREINABOVE SET FORTH CREATES A PUBLIC EMERGENCY AND AN IMPERATIVE
PUBLIC NECESSITY REQUIRING THE SUSPENSION OF THE CHARTER RULE THAT NO ORDINANCE
OR RESOLUTION SHALL BE PASSED FINALLY ON THE DATE OF ITS INTRODUCTION AND THAT
SUCH ORDINANCE OR RESOLUTION SHALL BE READ AT THREE SEVERAL MEETINGS OF THE
CITY COUNCIL, AND THE MAYOR, HAVING DECLARED SUCH EMERGENCY AND NECESSITY
TO EXIST, HAVING REQUESTED THE SUSPENSION OF SAID CHARTER RULE AND THAT THIS
ORDINANCE BE PASSED FINALLY ON THE DATE OF ITS INTRODUCTION AND THAT THIS
ORDINANCE TAKE EFFECT AND BE IN FULL FORCE AND EFFECT FROM AND AFT TS
PASSAGE, IT 13 ACCORDINGLY PASSED AND APPROVED, THIS f�`' /DAY OF

ORDINANCE OR RESOLUTION SHALL BE READ AT THREE MEETINGS OF THE CITY COUNCIL,,
I, THEREFORE, HEREBY REQUEST THAT YOU SUSPEND SAID CHARTER RULE OR REQUIRE-
MENT AND PASS THIS ORDINANCE FINALLY ON THE DATE IT IS INTRODUCED, OR AT THE
