AN ORDINANCE
APPROPRIATING OUT OF NO. 250 SANITARY SEWER BARD
FUiW THE SUM OF $150.00 TO COVER COST OF SOIL
BORINGS BY j311YAme FOUNDATION COMPANY AND AS
REQUIRED IN THE DESIGN OF PLANS FOR SECTION 3
OF UNIT V OF THE WESTSIDE SEWER SYSTEM, APPLI-
CABLE TO PROJECT N0. 250- 54- 9.5 -3; AND DF rLeuM
AN EMERGETCY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS
CHRISTI, TEXAS:
SECTION 1. There is hereby appropriated out of No. 250
Sanitary Sewer Bond Fund the sum of $150.00 to cover cost of soil
borings by Williams Foundation Company and as required in the design
of plans for Section 3 of Unit V of the Westaide Sevier System, applicable
to Project No. 250- 54- 9.5 -3.
SECTION 2. The necesaity to make the aforesaid appropriation
so that the project may continue without delay creates a public emergency
and an imperative public necessity requiring the suspension of the Charter
rule that no ordinance or resolution shall be passed finally an the date of
its introduction and that such ordinance or resolution shall he read at
three several meetings of the City Council, and the Mayor, having declared
such emergency and necessity to exist, having requested the suspension
of said Charter rule and that this ordinance be passed finally on the
date of its introduction and that this ordinance take effect and be in
full force and effect from and of its passage, IT IS ACCORDINGLY PASSED
AND APPROVED this d day of , 1961.
