WHEREAS, APPLICATION HAS BEEN MADE BY PALM PLAZA, INC., A TEXAS CORPORATION HAVING ITS PRINCIPAL PLACE OF BUSINESS IN CORPUS CHRISTI, NUECES COUNTY, TEXAS, TO CONSTRUCT AND MAINTAIN A PAVED SUR- FACE PARKING AREA ON THE SOUTH 20 FEET OF RIGHT OF WAY OF COLE STREET BETWEEN BROWNLEE BOULEVARD AND SOUTH STAPLES STREET, BEING THAT PART OF THE COLE STREET RESERVATION LYING SOUTH OF THE MAIN 60- FOOT RIGHT OF WAY AS SHOWN BY PLAT OF DEL MAR ADDITION RECORDED IN VOL. 4, PAGE 8 OF THE MAP RECORDS OF NUECES COUNTY, TEXAS; AND WHEREAS, THE CITY COUNCIL DEEMS IT IN THE BEST INTEREST TO GRANT A REVOCABLE EASEMENT TO PALM PLAZA, INC., FOR PARKING PUR- POSES ON THE AFORESAID 20 FEET OF RIGHT OF WAY OF COLE STREET: NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS: SECTION 1. THE CITY MANAGER BE, AND HE IS HEREBY, AUTHORIZED AND DIRECTED TO EXECUTE, FOR AND ON BEHALF OF THE CITY, A REVOCABLE EASEMENT ON THE SOUTH 20 FEET OF RIGHT OF WAY OF COLE STREET BETWEEN BROWNLEE BOULEVARD AND SOUTH STAPLES STREET, BEING THAT PART OF THE COLE STREET RESERVATION LYING SOUTH OF THE MAIN 6O -FOOT RIGHT OF WAY,OF RECORD IN VOL. 4, PAGE 8 OF THE MAP RECORDS OF NUECES COUNTY, TEXAS, A COPY OF WHICH REVOCABLE EASEMENT IS ATTACHED HERETO AND MADE A PART HEREOF.
