THE CITY MANAGER IS HEREBY AUTHORIZED AND DIRECTED TO EXECUTE, FOR AND ON BEHALF OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS, A QUITCLAIM DEED TO THE STATE OF TEXAS, ACTING BY AND THROUGH THE STATE HIGHWAY COMMISSION, BARGAINING, SELLING, RELEASING AND FOREVER QUITCLAIMING UNTO THE STATE OF TEXAS ALL OF THE CITY'S RIGHT, TITLE, INTEREST, CLAIM AND DEMAND IN AND TO THOSE CERTAIN TRACTS OR PARCELS OF LAND SITUATED IN THE STATE OF TEXAS, COUNTY OF NUECES, AND BEING MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED AS FOLLOWS: ALL THAT CERTAIN EASEMENT OR RIGHT OF WAY TO ENTER UPON LOTS, PIECES OR PARCELS OF LAND LYING AND BEING SITUATED WITHIN THE CORPORATE LIMITS OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, IN THE COUNTY OF NUECES, STATE OF TEXAS, AND MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED AS FOLLOWS, TO -WIT: BEING ALL OF LOT NUMBER 8, BLOCK 4, AND LOTS NUMBER 1, 2, 3 AND 4, BLOCK 7, OF THE JONES ADDITION TO THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI) AS SHOWN BY THE MAP OR PLAT THEREOF WHICH IS ON FILE IN THE OFFICE OF THE COUNTY CLERK OF NUECES COUNTY, TO -WHICH REFERENCE IS HEREBY MADE FOR BETTER DESCRIPTION.
