DA- 41�D3 -C243-5 ED IN BRIDGE RELOCATION PROJECT, AND REPORTS FROM LETTER DATED MARCH 1, 1963, OF ENGINEER S COPIES APART HEREOF, APPROVING THE AMOUNT OF $34,805.71, REPRESENTING THE BALANCE DUE THE CITY FROM THE UNITED STATES GOVERNMENT ASEIR FINAL DECLARING PAYMENT OF APPORTIONMENT OF COST; NAN EMERGENCY. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS= SECTION 1. THE FINAL APPORTIONMENT OF COSTS BETWEEN THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT, UNDER THE TRUMAN —HOBBS ACT, AND THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, CONTRACT NO. DA- 41- 243—CIVENG-56-60s BRIDGE RELOCA- TION PROJECT, AND A$ OUTLINED IN LETTER DATED MARCH 11 1963, AND REPORTS FROM THE U. S• ARMY ENGINEER DISTRICT, GALVESTON, COPIES OF WHICH ARE ATTACHED HERETO AND MADE A PART HEREOF, IS HEREBY APPROVED IN THE AMOUNT OF $34,805•T1, REPRESENTING THE BALANCE DUE THE CITY FROM THE U, S. GOVERNMENT AS THEIR FINAL PAYMENT OF APPORTIONMENT OF COSTS. SECTION 2. THE NECESSITY FOR PROMPT APPROVAL OF THE FINAL APPORTIONMENT OF COSTS AS CALCULATED BY THE U. S. TO THE MEMBERS OF THE CITY COUNCIL Corpus Christi, Texas For the reasons set forth in the emergency clause of the fore. going ordinance, a public emergency and imperative necessity exist for the suspension of the Charter rule or requirement that no ordinance or resolution shall be passed finally on the date it is introduced, and that such ordinance or resolution shall be read at three meetings of the City Council; I. therefore, hereby request that you suspend said Charter rule or requirement and pass this ordinance finally on the date it is introduced, or at the present meeting of the City Council.
