FRANK PEERMAN, A CONTRACT PROVIDING THAT THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS, WILL BE RE- SPONSIBLE FOR STREET LIGHT BILLINGS TO THE EXTENT OF $378.00 ON SEVEN LIGHTS TO BE INSTALLED IN PHARAOH VALLEY, UPON PAYMENT TO THE CITY OF $378.00 BY MR. FRANK PEERMAN, A COPY OF WHICH AGREEMENT IS ATTACHED HERETO AND MADE A PART HEREOF; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. WHEREAS, W. FRANK PEERMAN IS THE DEVELOPER OF PHARAOH VALLEY, A SUBDIVISION WITHIN THE CORPORATE LIMITS OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS, AND DESIRES THAT THE SAID SUBDIVISION HAVE SEVEN (7) 2500 LUMEN INCANDESCENT STREET LIGHTS ON ORNAMENTAL STANDARDS TO BE INSTALLED, MAINTAINED AND SUPPLIED WITH ELECTRICITY BY CENTRAL POWER AND LIGHT COMPANY, FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE RESIDENTS OF THE SAID SUBDIVISION; AND WHEREAS, THE DEVELOPER 13 WILLING AND DESIROUS TO PAY TO THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS THE SUM.OF TWO (2) YEARs NORMAL CHARGES FOR SEVEN (7) STREET LIGHTS OF THIS TYPE, AMOUNTING TO $378.00, IF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS, WILL REQUEST THAT SAID SEVEN (7) STREET LIGHTS BE INSTALLED, AND THE SAID CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS, WILL MAKE PAYMENT OF STREET LIGHT BILLINGS ON THE SAID SEVEN (7) STREET LIGHTS UP TO THE SAID SUM OF $378.00; AND WHEREAS, IT 1S BENEFICIAL TO THE RESIDENTS OF THE SAID SUB- DIVISION OF PHARAOH VALLEY, AND THE PUBLIC INTEREST TO DO SO: NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS: SECTION 1. THAT THE CITY MANAGER IS HEREBY AUTHORIZED AND DIRECTED, FOR AND ON BEHALF OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS TO EXECUTE WITH W. FRANK PEERMAN, A CONTRACT PROVIDING THAT MR. FRANK PEERMAN WILL PAY TO THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS, THE SUM OF $378.00, UPON RECEIPT OF WHICH THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS WILL ASSUME THE RESPONSIBILITY FOR PAYMENT OF STREET LIGHT BILLINGS TO THE CENTRAL POWER AND LIGHT COMPANY ON SEVEN (7) 2500 LUMEN INCANDESCENT STREET LIGHTS, TO BE INSTALLED IN THE SUBDIVISION OF PHARAOH VALLEY, UP TO THE SUM OF $378.00. 6907 • SECTION 2.
