AN ORDINANCE
APPROPRIATING OUT OF NO. 295 STORM SEWER BOND
FUND THE SUM OF $9,613.98 REPRESENTING THE COST
OF 1206 FEET OF 24" AND 46" PIPE COVERED BY PUR-
CHASE ORDER NO. 9885 AND INSTALLED IN CONNECTION
WITH THE DEVELOPMENT OF HERITAGE PARK SUBDIVISION
APPLICABLE TO McARDLE STORM SEWER, PROJECT NO. 295-
61-38; AUTHORIZING REIMBURSEMENT TO STREET DRAINAGE
ACTIVITY NO. 4914, CODE 248, IN THE AMOUNT OF
$9,613.98 FROM FUNDS HEREBY APPROPRIATED; AND DE-
CLARING AN EMERGENCY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI,
TEXAS:
SECTION 1. THERE IS HEREBY APPROPRIATED OUT OF ND. 295 STORM
SEWER BOND FUND THE SUM OF $9,613.98, REPRESENTING THE COST OF 1206 FEET
OF 24" AND 48" PIPE COVERED BY PURCHASE ORDER No. 9885 AND INSTALLED IN
CONNECTION WITH THE DEVELOPMENT OF HERITAGE PARK SUBDIVISION, APPLICABLE
TO MCARDLE STORM SEWER, PROJECT No. 295- 61 -38.
SECTION 2. THAT REIMBURSEMENT OF STREET DRAINAGE ACTIVITY NO.
4914, CODE 248, IN THE AMOUNT OF $9,613.981 HEREBY APPROPRIATED, IS HERE-
BY AUTHORIZED.
SECTION 3. THE NECESSITY TO APPROPRIATE THE AFORESAID SUMS

AND TO REIMBURSE STREET DRAINAGE ACTIVITY NO. 4914 IN THE AMOUNT HEREIN-
ABOVE SET OUT CREATES A PUBLIC EMERGENCY AND AN IMPERATIVE PUBLIC NECESSITY
REQUIRING THE SUSPENSION of THE CHARTER RULE THAT NO ORDINANCE OR RESO-
LUTION SHALL BE PASSED FINALLY ON THE DATE OF ITS INTRODUCTION AND SUCH
ORDINANCE OR RESOLUTION SHALL BE READ AT THREE SEVERAL MEETINGS OF THE
CITY COUNCIL, AND THE MAYOR, HAVING DECLARED THAT SUCH PUBLIC EMERGENCY
AND IMPERATIVE PUBLIC NECESSITY EXIST, AND HAVING REQUESTED THAT SUCH
CHARTER RULE BE SUSPENDED AND THAT THIS ORDINANCE BE PASSED FINALLY ON
THE DATE OF ITS INTRODUCTION AND TAKE EFFECT AND BE IN FULL FORCE AND
EFFECT FROM AND AFTER ITS PASSAGE, IT IS ACCORDINGLY SO ORDAINED, THIS THE
DAY OF JULY, 1964.
