APPROPRIATING OUT OF NO. 220 STREET BOND FUND THE
SUM OF $451.42 APPLICABLE TO PROJECT NO. 220- 56 -72,
SEWER RELOCATION FOR CROSSTOWN EXPRESSWAY UNIT 11,
AND $25,032.o6 OUT OF NO. 250 SANITARY SEWER BOND FUND,
OF WHICH $16,157.09 IS FOR PROJECT No. 250 -61 -35
LEXINGTON ACRES SANITARY SEWER, $4,764.41 IS FOR
PROJECT NO. 250 -61 -23 SHORELINE DRIVE EXTENSION, AND
$4,110.56 IS FOR PROJECT NO. 25o -61 -38.1 JACKSON
WOODS SEWERS, THE FOREGOING AMOUNTS REPRESENTING
RESPECTIVELY THE COSTS OF LABOR AND MATERIALS FOR
CONSTRUCTION DURING MAY, JUNE AND JULY, 1964, INCURRED
BY THE SEWER DIVISION; AUTHORIZING REIMBURSEMENT OUT
OF THIS APPROPRIATION FOR FUNDS EXPENDED OUT OF NO.
109 SEWER FUND AS PROVIDED IN THE 1963 -64 BUDGET;
AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI,
TEXAS:
SECTION 1. THERE IS HEREBY APPROPRIATED OUT OF No. 220 STREET
BOND FUND THE SUM OF $451.42 APPLICABLE TO PROJECT No. 220- 56 -72, SEWER
RELOCATION FOR CROSSTOWN EXPRESSWAY UNIT 11, AND THERE IS HEREBY APPROPRIATED
OUT OF No. 250 SANITARY SEWER BOND FUND THE SUM OF $25,032.o6 OF WHICH
$16,157.09 IS FOR PROJECT No. 250- 61 -35, LEXINGTON ACRES SANITARY SEWER;
$4,764.41 IS FOR PROJECT N0. 250- 61 -23, SHORELINE DRIVE EXTENSION; AND
$4,110.56 IS FOR PROJECT No. 25o -61 -38.1, JACKSON WOODS SEWERS, THE FORE-
GOING AMOUNTS REPRESENTING RESPECTIVELY THE COSTS OF LABOR AND MATERIALS
FOR CONSTRUCTION DURING MAY, JUNE AND JULY, 1964, INCURRED BY THE SEWER
DIVISION.
SECTION 2. THAT REIMBURSEMENT OF NO. 109 SEWER FUND FOR THE
AMOUNTS PREVIOUSLY EXPENDED IS HEREBY AUTHORIZED.
SECTION 3. THE NECESSITY TO REIMBURSE THE N0. 109 SEWER FUND
IN THE AMOUNT HEREINABOVE SET OUT CREATES A PUBLIC EMERGENCY AND AN IMPERA-
TIVE PUBLIC NECESSITY REQUIRING THE SUSPENSION OF THE CHARTER RULE THAT NO
ORDINANCE OR RESOLUTION SHALL BE PASSED FINALLY ON THE DATE OF ITS INTRO-
DUCTION AND THAT SUCH ORDINANCE OR RESOLUTION SHALL BE READ AT THREE
SEVERAL MEETINGS OF THE CITY COUNCIL, AND THE MAYOR HAVING DECLARED SUCH
EMERGENCY AND NECESSITY TO EXIST, HAVING REQUESTED THE SUSPENSION OF SAID

CHARTER RULE AND THAT THIS ORDINANCE BE PASSED FINALLY ON THE DATE OF ITS
INTRODUCTION AND TAKE EFFECT AND BE IN FULL FORCE AND EFFECT FROM AND AFTER
ITS PASSAGE, IT IS ACCORDINGLY SO ORDAINED, THIS THE�DAY OF JULY,

RESOLUTION SHALL BE PASSED FINALLY ON THE DATE IT IS INTRODUCED, AND THAT
SUCH ORDINANCE OR RESOLUTION SHALL BE READ AT THREE MEETINGS OF THE CITY
