HomeMy WebLinkAbout08030 ORD - 05/25/19665/23/66 AN ORDINANCE .APPROPRIATING THE SUM OF $26,48, OF WHICH AMOUNT $14,035 IS FROM NO. 220 STREET BOND FUND, $2,012 IS FROM NO. 250 SANITARY SEWER BOND FUND, $7,101 IS FROM NO. 295 STORM SEWER BOND FUND, AND $3,341 IS FROM NO. 230 BRIDGE BOND FUND, THE FOREGOING AMOUN'G TO SUPPLE - MENT FUNDS IN THE AMOUNT OF $6,702 REMAINING FROM FUNDS PREVIOUSLY APPROPRIATED FOR ENGINEERING COSTS AND CONTINGENCIES, APPLICABLE TO VARIOUS BOND FUND PROJECTS AS SHOWN ON THE TABULATION PREPARED BY THE ACCOUNTING DIVISION, A COPY OF WHICH IS ATTACHED HERETO AND MADE A PART HEREOF; AUTHORIZING REIMBURSE- MENT TO THE GENERAL FUND NO. 102 CURRENT FUND IN THE AMOUNT OF IP33, 191 FROM FUNDS HEREBY APPROPRIATED IN THE AMOUNT OF $26,409, AND PREVIOUSLY APPROPRIATED IN THE AMOUNT OF $b,70 , AND NOT HERETOFORE REIMBURSED URING THE CURRENT FISCAL YEAR OR THE PERIOD OF FEBRUARY 1, 1966 THROUGH APRIL 30, 19 ;AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS: SECTION 1. THERE IS HEREBY APPROPRIATED THE SUM OF $26,489, OF WHICH AMOUNT $14,035 IS FROM NO. 220 STREET BOND FUND, $2,012 IS FROM ND. 250 SANITARY SEWER BOND FUND, $7001 IS FROM N0. 295 STORM SEWER BOND FUND, AND $3,341 IS FROM N0. 230 BRIDGE BOND FUND, THE FOREGOING AMOUNTS TO SUPPLEMENT FUNDS IN THE AMOUNT OF $6,702 REMAINING FROM FUNDS PREVIOUSLY APPROPRIATED FOR ENGINEERING COSTS AND CONTINGENCIES APPLICABLE TO VARIOUS BOND FUND PROJECTS AS SHOWN ON THE TABULATION PREPARED BY THE ACCOUNTING DEPARTMENT, A COPY OF WHICH IS ATTACHED HERETO AND MADE A PART HEREOF. SECTION 2. THAT REIMBURSEMENT TO GENERAL FUND N0. 102 BE MADE IN THE AMOUNT OF $33,191 FROM FUNDS HEREBY APPROPRIATED IN THE AMOUNT OF $26,489, AND PREVIOUSLY APPROPRIATED IN THE AMOUNT OF $6,702, AND NOT HERETOFORE REIMBURSED DURING THE CURRENT FISCAL YEAR FOR THE PERIOD OF FEBRUARY 1, 1966 THROUGH APRIL 30, 1966. SECTION 3. THE NECESSITY FOR MAKING REIMBURSEMENT TO REFLECT SUCH EXPENDITURES AS ARE PROPERLY CHARGEABLE TO BOND FUNDS AS PROMPTLY AS POSSIBLE CREATES A PUBLIC EMERGENCY AND AN IMPERATIVE PUBLIC NECESSITY REQUIRING THE SUSPENSION OF THE CHARTER RULE THAT NO ORDINANCE OR RESOLUTION SHALL BE PASSED FINALLY ON THE DATE OF ITS INTRODUCTION AND THAT SUCH ORDI- NANCE OR RESOLUTION SHALL BE READ AT THREE SEVERAL MEETINGS OF THE CITY COUNCIL, AND THE MAYOR, HAVING DECLARED THAT SUCH PUBLIC EMERGENCY AND IMPERATIVE PUBLIC NECESSITY EXIST, AND HAVING REQUESTED THAT SUCH CHARTER RULE BE SUSPENDED AND THAT THIS ORDINANCE BE PASSED FINALLY ON THE DATE OF ITS INTRODUCTION AND TAKE EFFECT AND BE IN FULL FORCE AND EFFECT FROM AND AFTER ITS PASSAGE, IT IS ACCORDINGLY SO ORDAINED, THIS THE 6�j- DAY OF MAY, 1966.
