WHEREAS, A CERTAIN 10 —FOOT UTILITY EASEMENT EXISTS IN LOT 34, BLOCK 1 —A, WESTSIDE INDUSTRIAL TRACTS, IN THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, NUECES COUNTY, TEXAS, AS SHOWN BY MAP OR PLAT OF RECORD IN VOLUME 29, PAGE 91, MAP RECORDS OF NUECES COUNTY, TEXAS; AND 1 WHEREAS, SAID UTILITY EASEMENT IS NOT NOW USED OR NEEDED BY THE • CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI: , NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY >k OF CORPUS CHRISTI,'TEXAS: �} SECTION 1. THAT ALL OF THAT CERTAIN 10 —FOOT UTILITY EASEMENT i HERETOFORE EXISTING ALONG THE NORTH BOUNDARY OF LOT 34, BLOCK 1 —A, WEST — SIDE INDUSTRIAL TRACTS, IN THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, NUECES COUNTY, TEXAS, BE AND THE SAME IS HEREBY ABANDONED AND RELEASED AND RELINQUISHED BY THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI UNTO THE PRESENT OWNER OF SAID LOT IN SAID BLOCK. 4 SECTION 2. THE NECESSITY FOR RECOGNIZING THE ABANDONMENT OF THE EASEMENT HERETOFORE EXISTING AND ABOVE DESCRIBED CREATES A PUBLIC EMERGENCY s �t AND AN IMPERATIVE PUBLIC NECESSITY REQUIRING THE SUSPENSION OF THE CHARTER i RULE THAT NO ORDINANCE OR RESOLUTION SHALL BE PASSED FINALLY ON THE DATE i OF ITS INTRODUCTION AND THAT SUCH ORDINANCE OR RESOLUTION SHALL BE READ AT THREE SEVERAL MEETINGS OF THE CITY COUNCIL, AND THE MAYOR HAVING DECLARED THAT SUCH PUBLIC EMERGENCY AND IMPERATIVE PUBLIC NECESSITY EXIST, AND HAVING S REQUESTED THAT SUCH CHARTER RULE BE SUSPENDED AND THAT THIS ORDINANCE BE PASSED FINALLY ON THE DATE OF ITS INTRODUCTION AND TAKE EFFECT AND BE IN FULL FORCE AND EFFECT FROM AND AFTER ITS PASSAGE, IT IS ACCORDINGLY SO ORDAINED, THIS THE DAY OF SEPTEMBER, 1966. .r r ATTEM, - YOR L THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS .
