S. CUSTOMS INSPECTION STATION AT CORPUS CHRISTI INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT, APPLICABLE TO PROJECT NO. 207 -67 -$; APPROPRIATING THE SUM OF $911,000 OUT OF NO. 207 PUBLIC BUILDING BOND FUND, OF WHICH AMOUNT $92,300 IS FOR THE CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT, $450 13 FOR ADDITIONAL ARCHITECTURAL FEES AND $1,250 IS FOR CONTINGENCIES, INCLUDING BOND ISSUANCE EXPENSE, LABORATORY TESTING, AND LEGAL ADVERTISING COSTS; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, SECTION 1. THAT THE CITY MANAGER BE, AND HE IS HEREBY, AUTHORIZED AND DIRECTED, FOR AND ON BEHALF OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT WITH BRASELTON CONSTRUCTION COMPANY FOR CONSTRUCTION OF THE U. S. CUSTOMS INSPECTION STATION AT CORPUS CHRISTI INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT TO CON- STRUCT A ONE -STORY MASONRY BUILDING, APPROXIMATELY 5,000 SQUARE FEET, TO MATCH EXISTING CONSTRUCTION, ALL AS MORE FULLY SET OUT IN THE PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND CONTRACT DOCUMENTS ON FILE IN THE OFFICE OF THE CITY SECRETARY, ALL OF WHICH ARE MADE A PART HEREOF BY REFERENCE, AND ACCORDING TO THE BID OF BRASELTON CONSTRUCTION COMPANY OPENED ON THE 17TH DAY OF MAY, 1967, THE SAID BID OF BRASELTON CONSTRUCTION COMPANY BEING THE LOWEST AND MOST ADVANTAGEOUS TO THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS. SECTION 2. THERE IS HEREBY APPROPRIATED OUT OF NO. 207 PUBLIC BUILDING BOND FUND, OF WHICH AMOUNT $92,300 IS FOR THE CONSTRUCTION CON- TRACT, $450 IS FOR ADDITIONAL ARCHITECTURAL FEES, AND $1,250 IS FOR CONTINGENCIES, INCLUDING BOND ISSUANCE EXPENSE, LABORATORY TESTING, AND LEGAL ADVERTISING COSTS. SECTION 3. THE NECESSITY TO AUTHORIZE THE EXECUTION OF THE AFORE- SAID CONTRACT AND THE APPROPRIATION OF THE NECESSARY FUNDS TO CONSTRUCT THE U. S.
