DRIVE TO ASWAN STREET; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENC� BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS: SECTION 1. THAT THE NAME OF INWOOD DRIVE IN COUNTRY CLUB ESTATES, UNITS 1 AND 4, IN THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, NUECES COUNTY, TEXAS, BE AND THE SAME 15 HEREBY CHANGED TO FENWAY DRIVE. SECTION 2. THAT THE NAME OF WESTHAVEN STREET, LOCATED NORTH FROM THE 6500 BLOCK OF MCARDLE ROAD TO SOUTHLAND DRIVE, IN THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, NUECES COUNTY, TEXAS, BE AND THE SAME IS HEREBY CHANGED TO ASWAN STREET. SECTION 3. THAT THE DIRECTOR OF TRAFFIC ENGINEERING BE AND HE IS HEREBY AUTHORIZED AND DIRECTED TO CAUSE TO BE REMOVED ANY STREET SIGNS OR MARKERS WHICH ARE ERRONEOUS AFTER THE PASSAGE OF THIS ORDINANCE AND TO ERECT NEW STREET SIGNS OR MARKERS AT APPROPRIATE PLACES, DESIGNATING THE CORRECT NAMES OF THE ABOVE MENTIONED STREETS. SECTION 3. THE FACT THAT THE CHANGE OF NAM 6 AS ABOVE SET FORTH SHOULD BE DESIGNATED BY APPROPRIATE MARKERS AND DESIGNATION SHOULD BE MADE AS PROMPTLY AS POSSIBLE CREATES A PUBLIC EMERGENCY AND AN IMPERATIVE PUBLIC NECESSITY REQUIRING THE SUSPENSION OF THE CHARTER RULE THAT NO ORDINANCE OR RESOLUTION SHALL BE PASSED FINALLY ON THE DATE OF ITS INTRODUCTION AND THAT SUCH ORDINANCE OR RESOLUTION SHALL BE READ AT THREE SEVERAL MEETINGS OF THE CITY COUNCIL, AND THE MAYOR HAVING DECLARED SUCH EMERGENCY AND NECESSITY TO EXIST, HAVING REQUESTED THE SUSPENSION OF THE CHARTER RULE AND THAT THIS ORDINANCE TAKE EFFECT AND BE IN FULL FORCE AND EFFECT FROM AND AFTER ITS PASSAGE, IT IS ACCORDINGLY SO ORDAINED, THIS THE --m-6 DAY OF 1967- ATTE 00, V12 -.4 lr_- M10OR' THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS CITY SECRE ARY APPROVED AS LEGAL F RM THIS -t DAY OF UNEV 1967: CITY A TOR EY In CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS �AY OF7, TO THE MEMBERS OF THE CITY COUNCIL.
