AN ORDINANCE
APPROPRIATING OUT OF NO. 250 SANITARY SEWER BOND FUND
THE SUM OF $71,363.64 FOR CONSTRUCTION OF 9856 FEET OF
10 -INCH, 8 -INCH AND 4 -INCH SANITARY SEWER LATERALS AND
TAPS IN MAIN DRIVE, A PART OF PROJECT NO. 250- 67 -52,
LATERALS IN LEOPARD STREET AREA, HUDSON ACRES TO MCKENZIE
ROAD, BY CITY FORCES; AUTHORIZING THE REIMBURSEMENT OF
NO. 109 SEWER FUND FOR THE AMOUNT PREVIOUSLY ADVANCED FOR
THE ABOVE PROJECT; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI,
TEXAS:
SECTION 1. THERE IS HEREBY APPROPRIATED OUT OF N0. 250 SANITARY
SEWER BOND FUND THE SUM OF $71,363.64 FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF 9856 FEET OF
10 -INCH, 8 -INCH AND 4 INCH SANITARY SEWER LATERALS AND TAPS IN MAIN DRIVE, •rr

A PART OF PROJECT N0. 250- 67 -52, LATERALS IN LEOPARD STREET AREA, HUDSON
ACRES TO MCKENZIE ROAD, BY CITY FORCES,
SECTION 2. THE REIMBURSEMENT OF N0. 109 SEWER FUND FOR THE AMOUNT
PREVIOUSLY ADVANCED FOR THE ABOVE PROJECT IS HEREBY AUTHORIZED.
SECTION 3. THE NECESSITY TO REIMBURSE THE N0. 109 SEWER FUND IN
THE AMOUNT HEREINABOVE SET FORTH IN ORDER TO REFLECT SUCH EXPENDITURES AS
ARE PROPERLY CHARGEABLE TO THE AFORESAID FUNDS AS PROMPTLY AS POSSIBLE
CREATES A PUBLIC EMERGENCY AND IMPERATIVE PUBLIC NECESSITY REQUIRING THE

,II SUSPENSION OF THE CHARTER RULE THAT NO ORDINANCE OR RESOLUTION SHALL BE
PASSED FINALLY ON THE DATE OF ITS INTRODUCTION AND THAT SUCH ORDINANCE OR
RESOLUTION SHALL BE READ AT THREE SEVERAL MEETINGS OF THE CITY COUNCIL,
AND THE MAYOR HAVING DECLARED SUCH EMERGENCY AND NECESSITY TO EXIST, AND r��1
HAVING REQUESTED THE SUSPENSION OF THE CHARTER RULE AND THAT THIS ORDINANCE
BE PASSED FINALLY ON THE DATE OF ITS INTRODUCTION AND TAKE EFFECT AND BE
IN FULL FORCE AND EFFECT FROM AND AFTER ITS PASSAGE;; IT IS ACCORDINGLY SO

FOR THE REASONS SET FORTH IN THE EMERGENCY CLAUSE OF THE FOREGOING
ORDINANCE, A PUBLIC EMERGENCY AND IMPERATIVE NECESSITY EXIST FOR THE SUSPEN-
SION OF THE CHARTER RULE OR REQUIREMENT THAT NO ORDINANCE OR RESOLUTION SHALL
BE PASSED FINALLY ON THE DATE IT IS INTRODUCED, AND THAT SUCH ORDINANCE OR
RESOLUTION SHALL BE READ AT THREE MEETINGS OF THE CITY COUNCIL; I, THEREFORE,
REQUEST THAT YOU SUSPEND SAID CHARTER RULE OR REQUIREMENT AND PASS THIS ORDI-
NANCE FINALLY ON THE DATE IT IS INTRODUCED, OR AT THE PRESENT MEETING OF THE
CITY COUNCIL.
