AN ORDINANCE
APPROPRIATING OUT OF NO. 220 STREET BOND FUNDS THE SUM
OF $4,822.49, APPLICABLE TO PROJECT NO. 220 -61- 81.13;
AUTHORIZING REIMBURSEMENT TO THE CORPUS CHRISTI INDEPEND-
ENT SCHOOL DISTRICT, FOR STREET IMPROVEMENTS AROUND THE
INWOOD VILLAGE PARK, MOODY HIGH SCHOOL TRACT, IN CONNEC-
TION WITH TERMS OF THE PLATTING ORDINANCE, SAID REIMBURSE-
MENT TO BE MADE FROM FUNDS HEREBY APPROPRIATED; AND DECLAR-
ING AN EMERGENCY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI,
TEXAS:
SECTION 1. THAT THERE IS HEREBY APPROPRIATED OUT OF NO. 220 STREET
BOND FUNDS THE SUM OF $4,822.49, APPLICABLE TO PROJECT No. 220 -61- 81.13,
FOR STREET IMPROVEMENTS AROUND SHE INWOOD VILLAGE PARK, MOODY HIGH SCHOOL
TRACT.
SECTION 2. THAT REIMBURSEMENT IN THE AMOUNT OF $4,822.49 BE, AND
THE SAME IS HEREBY, AUTHORIZED TO CORPUS CHRISTI INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT,
WHICH SUM 15 APPLICABLE TO PROJECT NO. 22o- 61- 81.13, WHICH REPRESENTS ONE -
HALF OF THE STREET DEVELOPMENT AROUND THE INWOOD VILLAGE PARK, MOODY HIGH
SCHOOL TRACT IN CONNECTION WITH THE TERMS OF THE PLATTING ORDINANCE AND PER
FINAL ESTIMATE, A COPY OF WHICH IS ATTACHED HERETO AND MADE A PART HEREOF.
SECTION 3. THAT THE NECESSITY TO MAKE THE NECESSARY APPROPRIATION
SO THAT REIMBURSEMENT MAY BE MADE TO THE CORPUS CHRISTI INDEPENDENT SCHOOL
DISTRICT OF THE AGREED ONE -HALF OF THE CONSTRUCTION COSTS OF STREETS AROUND
THE PARK CREATES A PUBLIC EMERGENCY AND IMPERATIVE PUBLIC NECESSITY REQUIRING
THE SUSPENSION OF THE CHARTER RULE THAT NO ORDINANCE OR RESOLUTION SHALL BE
PASSED FINALLY ON THE DATE OF ITS INTRODUCTION AND THAT SUCH ORDINANCE OR
RESOLUTION SHALL BE READ AT THREE SEVERAL MEETINGS OF THE CITY COUNCIL, AND
THE MAYOR HAVING DECLARED SUCH EMERGENCY AND NECESSITY TO EXIST, AND HAVING
REQUESTED THE SUSPENSION OF THE CHARTER RULE AND THAT THIS ORDINANCE BE
PASSED FINALLY ON THE DATE OF ITS INTRODUCTION AND TAKE EFFECT AND BE IN FULL
FORCE AND EFFECT FROM AND AFTER ITS PASSAGE, IT IS ACCORDINGLY SO ORDAINED,
THIS THE DAY OF JULY, 1968.

CONTRACTORS BID AND THE TOTAL COST FOR IMPROVEMENTS ALONG
CASTENON PARK AREA ON CASTENON STREET ALL AS SET OUT BELOW.
