HomeMy WebLinkAbout08968 ORD - 08/07/1968AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING THE SUM OF $9,487.26 OUT OF VARIOUS BOND FUNDS FOR F'x PENSES IN CONNECTION WITH THE SALE OF $2,500,000 GENERAL SMPROvEMENT BONDS, SERIES 1968 ON JUNE 11, 1968, AND, DECIARMG AN EMERGENCY BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS: SECTION I: There is hereby appropriated the sum of $9,487.26 out of the following listed bond funds for expenses in connection with the sale of $2,500,000 General Improvement Bonds, Series 1968, said sale having been con- ducted June ll. 1968: Financial Advisor $ 4,960.00 Bond Attorney 3,779.33 Travel - Chief Accountant 79.33 Printing Prospectus Covers 339.60 Printing Bonds 323.00 State Comptroller's Fee 6.00 7.2 FUND BONDS SOLD PERCENT APPROPRIATION 250 Sanitary Sewer Bond Fund 00,000 1 220 :!Street Bond Fund 1'517'9 2 l00 000 84• 7 2 500 000 loo. 9 2 SECTION II: The necessity for making the appropriation as described in Section I hereof creates a public emergency and an imperative public necessity requiring the suspension of the Charter Rule that no ordinance or resolution shall be passed finally on the date of its introduction and that such ordinance or resolution shall be read at three several meetings of the City Council, and the Mayor having declared that such emergency exists, and having requested the suspension of said Charter Rule and that this ordinance take effect and be in full force and effect from and after its passage, IT IS ACCORDINGLY SO ORDAINED THIS /w THE / DAY OF 1968.
