H. 286 FROM GOLLIHAR ROAD TO S. H. 358, AND THE ILLUMINATION OF THE S. H. 358 - S. H. 286 INTERCHANGE AS AGREED TO UNDER AGREEMENT WITH THE STATE HIGHWAY COMMISSION AUTHORIZED UNDER ORDINANCE 9462 AND PLACING IN TRUST FUND NO. 927 THE AMOUNT OF $8,200 AS THE CITY'S SHARE OF THE ADDITIONAL COSTS OF INSTALLING STREET ILLUMINATION WITHIN THE LIMITS ABOVE DESCRIBED; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS:I SECTION 1. THERE IS HEREBY APPROPRIATED OUT OF NO. 220 STREET BOND FUND THE SUM OF $8,200 FOR PROJECT NO. 220 -56 -74.7, ILLUMINATION OF S. H. 286 FROM GOLLIHAR ROAD TO S. H. 358, AND THE ILLUMINATION OF THE S. H. 358 -s. H. 286 INTERCHANGE, AS AGREED TO UNDER AGREEMENT WITH THE STATE HIGHWAY COMMISSION, AUTHORIZED BY ORDINANCE NO. 9462, AND PLACING IN TRUST FUND NO. 927 THE AMOUNT OF $8,200 AS THE CITY'S SHARE OF THE ADDITIONAL COSTS OF INSTALLATION OF STREET ILLUMINATION WITHIN THE LIMITS ABOVE DESCRIBED. SECTION 2. THE NECESSITY TO IMMEDIATELY APPROPRIATE THE HEREIN- ABOVE DESCRIBED FUNDS IN ORDER THAT THE PROJECT MAY CONTINUE WITHOUT DELAY CREATES A PUBLIC EMERGENCY AND IMPERATIVE PUBLIC NECESSITY REQUIRING THE SUSPENSION OF THE CHARTER RULE THAT NO ORDINANCE OR RESOLUTION SHALL BE PASSED FINALLY ON THE DATE OF ITS INTRODUCTION AND THAT SUCH ORDINANCE OR RESOLUTION SHALL BE READ AT THREE SEVERAL MEETINGS OF THE CITY COUNCIL, AND THE MAYOR HAVING DECLARED SUCH EMERGENCY AND NECESSITY TO EXIST, AND HAVING REQUESTED THE SUSPENSION OF THE CHARTER RULE AND THAT THIS ORDINANCE BE PASSED FINALLY ON THE DATE OF ITS INTRODUCTION AND TAKE EFFECT AND BE IN FULL FORCE AND EFFECT FROM AND AFTER ITS PASSAGE AND PUBLICATION, IT IS 4 17 ACCORDINGLY SO ORDAINED, THIS THE n( / DAY OF AUGUST, 1969.
