TEMPLE CONCERNING PARCELS 46 AND 118, IN CONNECTION WITH ACQUISITION OF LAND FOR OSO SEWAGE TREATMENT PLANT, PROJECT NO. 250 -61 -25.5; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS: SECTION 1• THERE IS HEREBY APPROPRIATED OUT OF N0. 250 SANITARY t SEWER BOND FUND THE SUM OF $1300 FOR APPRAISALS BY ROY L. TEMPLE CONCERN- ING PARCELS 46 AND 48, IN CONNECTION WITH ACQUISITION OF LAND FOR THE OSO SEWAGE TREATMENT PLANT, PROJECT No. 250- 61- 25• -5• SECTION 2. THE NECESSITY TO MAKE THE HEREINABOVE APPROPRIATION IN ORDER TO PROVIDE FUNDS FOR APPRAISAL SERVICES AS OUTLINED ABOVE CREATES A PUBLIC EMERGENCY AND AN IMPERATIVE PUBLIC NECESSITY REQUIRING THE SUSPEN- SION OF THE CHARTER RULE THAT NO ORDINANCE OR RESOLUTION SHALL BE PASSED FINALLY ON THE DATE OF ITS INTRODUCTION ARD THAT'SUCH ORDINANCE OR RESOLU- TION SHALL BE READ AT THREE SEVERAL MEETINGS OF THE CITY COUNCIL, AND THE MAYOR HAVING DECLARED THAT SUCH EMERGENCY AND NECESSITY DO EXIST, AND HAVING REQUESTED THE SUSPENSION OF -I'HE CHARTER RULE AND THAT THIS ORDINANCE BE PASSED FINALLY ON THE DATE OF ITS INTRODUCTION AND TAKE EFFECT AND BE IN FULL FORCE AND EFFECT FROM AND AFTER ITS PASSAGE, IT IS ACCORDINGLY SO ORDAINED, THIS THE Q DAY OF DECEMBER, 1969.
