HomeMy WebLinkAbout09819 ORD - 06/24/1970�JKH :6 -24 -70 - -- AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING OUT OF NO. 291 PARK BOND FUND THE SUM OF $4820, OF WHICH AMOUNT $14700 IS FOR ACQUISITION OF PARCEL NO. 14, AND $120 IS FOR INCIDENTAL EXPENSES ALL APPLICABLE TO ELGIN PARK EXPANSION, PROJECT NO. 291- 64 -64; AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE REAL ESTATE SALES CONTRACT AND SUCH OTHER INSTRUMENTS AS MAY BE NECESSARY, FOR AND ON BEHALF OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, TO ACQUIRE THE AFORESAID PARCEL FROM THE OWNERS, SANTIAGO MARTINEZ AND WIFE, ZOILA MARTINEZ; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS: SECTION 1. THERE IS HEREBY APPROPRIATED OUT OF No. 291 PARK BOND FUND THE SUM OF $4820, OF WHICH AMOUNT $14700 IS FOR ACQUISITION OF PARCEL NO. 14, AND $120 IS FOR INCIDENTAL EXPENSES, ALL APPLICABLE To ELGIN PARK EXPANSION, PROJECT N0. 291- 64 -64, SAID PARCEL BEING DESCRIBED AS FOLLOWS: LOT 29, BLOCK 2, EL REY ADDITION, AN ADDITION TO THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, NUECES COUNTY, TEXAS, SAID ADDITION BEING FURTHER IDENTIFIED BY MAP OR PLAT, OF RECORD IN VOLUME 8, PAGE 52, MAP RECORDS OF NUECES COUNTY, TEXAS. SECTION 2. THAT THE CITY MANAGER BE, AND HE IS HEREBY, AUTHORIZED AND DIRECTED TO EXECUTE REAL ESTATE SALES CONTRACT AND SUCH OTHER INSTRUMENTS AS MAY BE NECESSARY TO ACQUIRE, FOR AND ON BEHALF OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, THE AFORESAID PARCEL FROM THE OWNERS, SANTIAGO MARTINEZ AND WIFE, ZOILA MARTINEZ. SECTION 3.
