THOMAS A. WILLIAMS, ET AL, INVOLVING PARCEL OR TRACT SOUGHT TO BE ACQUIRED BY THE CITY IN CONDEMNATION PROCEEDINGS FOR ESTABLISH- MENT OF THE FLOUR BLUFF SEWAGE PLANT; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, SECTION 1. THERE IS HEREBY APPROPRIATED OUT OF THE NO. 250 SANITARY SEWER BOND FUND FOR REIMBURSEMENT OF THE N0. 102 GENERAL FUND THE SUM OF $33,049.11, OF WHICH $13.2,569.11 IS FOR PAYMENT OF BALANCE OF JUDGMENT OF COURT AND THE SUM OF $480 IS FOR FEES OF EXPERT WITNESS IN CAUSE ND. 613, STYLED CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI VS. THOMAS A. WILLIAMS, ET AL, INVOLVING THE FOLLOWING DESCRIBED PARCEL OR TRACT SOUGHT TO BE ACQUIRED BY THE CITY IN CONDEMNATION PROCEEDINGS FOR ESTABLISHMENT OF THE FLOUR BLUFF SEWAGE PLANT: LOTS THIRTEEN (13), FOURTEEN (14) AND FIFTEEN (15), SECTION FIFTY -SIX (56), OF THE FLOUR BLUFF AND ENCINAL FARM AND GARDEN TRACTS, A SUBDIVISION IN NUECES COUNTY, TEXAS, ACCORDING TO MAP THEREOF FILED IN VOLUME A, AT PAGE 42 OF THE MAP RECORDS OF NUECES COUNTY, TEXAS, TOGETHER WITH ALL RIGHTS IN CONTIGUOUS STREETS AND ALL LITTORAL AND RIPARIAN RIGHTS, INCLUD- ING ANY RIGHT TO ADDITIONAL LAND ACQUIRED BY ACCRETION. THERE IS EXCLUDED FROM THE LAND HEREIN SOUGHT TO BE CONDEMNED ALL THE OIL, GAS AND OTHER MINERALS WHICH MIGHT LIE IN OR UNDER SAID PROPERTY. SECTION 2. THE NECESSITY TO APPROPRIATE THE SUMS HEREINABOVE DESCRIBED AT THE EARLIEST PRACTICABLE DATE IN ORDER THAT THE CITY MAY COM- PLETE ACQUISITION OF THE AFORESAID PARCEL OR TRACT AND THAT THE CONSTRUCTION OF THE FLOUR BLUFF SEWAGE PLANT MAY CONTINUE WITHOUT DELAY CREATES A PUBLIC EMERGENCY AND AN IMPERATIVE PUBLIC NECESSITY REQUIRING THE SUSPENSION OF THE CHARTER RULE THAT NO ORDINANCE OR RESOLUTION SHALL BE PASSED FINALLY ON THE DATE OF ITS INTRODUCTION AND THAT SUCH ORDINANCE OR RESOLUTION SHALL BE READ AT THREE SEVERAL MEETINGS OF THE CITY COUNCIL, AND THE MAYOR HAVING DECLARED SUCH EMERGENCY AND NECESSITY TO EXIST, AND HAVING REQUESTED THE SUSPENSION OF THE CHARTER RULE AND THAT THIS ORDINANCE BE PASSED FINALLY ON JL0276 I ws � THE DATE OF ITS INTRODUCTION AND TAKE EFFECT AND BE IN FULL FORCE AND EFFECT FROM AND A TER ITS PASSAGE, IT IS ACCORDINGLY SO ORDAINED, THIS TH EIZ DAY OF / C �L� , 1971.
