JONES (DUDLEY•JONES) AND $243.53 IS FOR ARCHITECTURAL FEES AND $274.15.13 FOR CONTINGEN- CIES AND INCIDENTAL EXPENSES, ALL IN CONNECTION WITH PRO- JECT 291 -70 -7, T. C. AYERS POOL, AND SUPPLEMENTING FUNDS PREVIOUSLY APPROPRIATED BY ORDINANCES NOS. 9787 AND 9943; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS: SECTION 11. THERE IS HEREBY APPROPRIATED OUT OF THE NO. 102 GENERAL FUND, THE SUM OF $4,900 OF WHICH $4,38232 IS FOR COST RELATED TO THE RELOCA- TION OF NORMAN S. JONES (DUDLEY JONES) AND $243.53 IS FOR ARCHITECTURAL FEES AND $274.15 IS FOR CONTINGENCIES AND INCIDENTAL EXPENSES, ALL IN'CONNECTION WITH PROJECT 291-70-7,.T. C. AYERS POOL, AND SUPPLEMENTING FUNDS PREVIOUSLY APPROPRIATED BY ORDINANCES NOS. 9787 AND 9943, SECTION 2. THE NECESSITY TO MAKE THE HEREINABOVE APPROPRIATION IN ORDER TO COMPLETE THE T. C. AYERS POOL PROJECT CREATES A PUBLIC EMERGENCY AND IMPERATIVE PUBLIC NECESSITY REQUIRING THE'SUSPENSION OF THE CHARTER RULE THAT NO ORDINANCE OR RESOLUTION SHALL BE PASSED FINALLY ON THE DATE OF ITS f"t 1 4 INTRODUCTION BUT THAT SUCH ORDINANCE OR RESOLUTION SHALL BE READ AT THREE iyl SEVERAL MEETINGS OF THE CITY COUNCIL, AND THE MAYOR HAVING DECLARED SUCH EMERGENCY AND NECESSITY TO EXIST, AND HAVING REQUESTED THE SUSPENSION OF THE CHARTER RULE AND THAT THIS ORDINANCE BE PASSED FINALLY ON THE DATE OF ITS INTRODUCTION AND TAKE EFFECT AND BE IN FULL FORCE AND EFFECT FROM AND AFTER ITS PASSAGE, IT IS ACCORDINGLY SO ORDAINED, THIS THE M2 DAY OF JUNE, 1971.
