AN ORDINANCE

FUND; $1,211 IS FROM THE NO. 245 AIRPORT BOND FUND; AND
$300 IS FROM THE NO. 218 TRANSIT SYSTEM BOND FUND; TO
SUPPLEMENT $47,933 REMAINING FROM FUNDS PREVIOUSLY APPRO-
PRIATED FOR ENGINEERING AND CONTINGENCIES APPLICABLE TO
VARIOUS PROJECTS AS SHOWN ON THE TABULATION PREPARED BY
THE ACCOUNTING DIVISION, A COPY OF WHICH ATTACHED HERETO,
MARKED EXHIBIT "A ", IS MADE A PART HEREOF; AUTHORIZING
REIMBURSEMENT OF $79048 TO THE NO. 102 GENERAL FUND FOR
ENGINEERING SERVICES PROVIDED DURING THE PERIOD OF FEBRUARY
1, 1971, THROUGH APRIL 30, 1971; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI,
TEXAS:
SECTION 1. THERE IS HEREBY APPROPRIATED THE SUM OF $31,215 OF
WHICH $25,019 IS FROM THE N0. 220 STREET BOND FUND; $2,950 IS FROM THE N0.
295 STORM SEWER BOND FUND; $1,735 IS FROM THE NO. 250 SANITARY SEWER BOND
FUND; $1,211 IS FROM THE NO. 245 AIRPORT BOND FUND; AND $300 IS FROM THE
N0. 218 TRANSIT SYSTEM BOND FUND; TO SUPPLEMENT $47,933 REMAINING FROM FUNDS
PREVIOUSLY APPROPRIATED FOR ENGINEERING AND CONTINGENCIES APPLICABLE TO
VARIOUS PROJECTS AS SHOWN ON THE TABULATION PREPARED BY THE ACCOUNTING
DIVISION, A COPY OF WHICH IS ATTACHED HERETO, MARKED EXHIBIT "A ", AND MADE

SECTION 2. AUTHORIZING REIMBURSEMENT OF $79,148 TO THE NO. 102
GENERAL FUND FOR ENGINEERING SERVICES PROVIDED DURING THE PERIOD OF FEBRUARY
1, 1971, THROUGH APRIL 30, 1971.
SECTION 3. THE NECESSITY FOR MAKING REIMBURSEMENT TO REFLECT
SUCH EXPENDITURES AS ARE PROPERLY CHARGEABLE TO BOND FUNDS AS PROMPTLY AS
POSSIBLE CREATES A PUBLIC EMERGENCY AND AN IMPERATIVE PUBLIC NECESSITY REQUIR-
ING THE SUSPENSION OF THE CHARTER RULE THAT NO ORDINANCE OR RESOLUTION SHALL
BE PASSED FINALLY ON THE DATE OF ITS INTRODUCTION AND THAT SUCH ORDINANCE
OR RESOLUTION SHALL BE READ AT THREE SEVERAL MEETINGS OF THE CITY COUNCIL,
AND THE MAYOR HAVING DECLARED SUCH EMERGENCY AND NECESSITY TO EXIST, AND
I HAVING REQUESTED THE SUSPENSION OF THE CHARTER RULE AND THAT THIS ORDINANCE
BE PASSED FINALLY ON THE DATE OF ITS INTRODUCTION AND TAKE EFFECT AND BE

SION OF THE CHARTER RULE OR REQUIREMENT THAT NO ORDINANCE OR RESOLUTION SHALL
BE PASSED FINALLY ON THE DATE IT IS INTRODUCED, AND THAT SUCH ORDINANCE OR
RESOLUTION SHALL BE READ AT THREE MEETINGS OF THE CITY COUNCIL; 12 THEREFORE,
REQUEST THAT YOU SUSPEND SAID CHARTER RULE OR REQUIREMENT AND PASS THIS ORDI-
