ATTACHED HERETO AND MADE A PART HEREOF; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, SECTION 1. THERE 15 HEREBY APPROPRIATED OUT OF NO. 220 STREET BOND FUND THE SUM OF $7001 OF WHICH $175 IS FOR ACQUISITION OF PARCEL N0. 1 AND $525 IS FOR RELATED COSTS, APPLICABLE TO PROJECT NO. 220 -70 -111, HORNE ROAD- NAPLES TO COLUMBIA, SAID PARCEL BEING DESCRIBED AS FOLLOWS: BEING A TRIANGULAR SHAPED TRACT OF LAND OUT OF THAT CERTAIN 0.25 ACRE TRACT OF LAND DESCRIBED IN VOLUME 574, PAGE 264, NUECES COUNTY, TEXAS DEED RECORDS AND BEING OUT OF LOT 16, SECTION G, PAISLEYS SUBDIVISION OF THE HOFFMAN TRACT AS SHOWN BY MAP OF RECORD IN VOLUME A, PAGE 28, MAP RECORDS, NUECES COUNTY, TEXAS, SAID TRIANGULAR TRACT BEING MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED BY METES AND BOUNDS AS FOLLOWS: BEGINNING AT THE INTERSECTION OF THE PRESENT NORTHEAST RIGHT OF WAY LINE OF HORNE ROAD AND THE PRESENT NORTHWEST RIGHT -OF -WAY LINE OF AYERS STREET, SAID POINT BEING THE MOST SOUTHERLY CORNER OF SAID 0.25 ACRE TRACT FOR THE MOST SOUTHERLY AND BEGINNING CORNER OF THE TRACT HEREIN DESCRIBED; THENCE N. 61° 4Ol 4O" W., WITH THE PRESENT NORTHEAST RIGHT OF WAY LINE OF SAID HORNE ROAD, A DISTANCE OF 12.44 FEET TO A POINT FOR THE MPf WESTERLY CORNER OF THE TRACT HEREIN DESCRIBED; THENCE IN AN EASTERLY DIRECTION WITH THE ARC OF A CURVE TO THE LEFT WHOSE CENTRAL ANGLE IS 65° O6, 07 ", AND WHOSE RADIUS IS 21.5 FEET, A DISTANCE OF 24.43 FEET TO A POINT, THE P.T. of SAID CURVE NORTHWEST RIGHT -OF -WAY LINE OF SAID AYERS STREET FOR THE MOST EASTERLY CORNER OF THE TRACT HEREIN DESCRIBED; THENCE S. 28° 18l 4O" W., WITH THE NORTHWEST RIGHT -OF -WAY LINE OF SAID AYERS STREET, A DISTANCE OF 19.5 FEET TO THE POINT OF BEGINNING. THE NECESSITY TO APPROPRIATE THE SUMS HEREINABOVE DESCRIBED AND TO ACQUIRE THE AFORESAID PARCEL CREATES A PUBLIC EMERGENCY AND AN IMPERATIVE PUBLIC NECESSITY REQUIRING THE SUSPENSION OF THE CHARTER RULE THAT NO ORDINANCE OR RESOLUTION SHALL BE PASSED FINALLY ON THE DATE OF ITS INTRODUCTION BUT THAT SUCH ORDINANCE OR RESOLUTION SHALL BE READ AT THREE SEVERAL MEETINGS OF THE CITY COUNCIL, AND THE MAYOR HAVING DECLARED SUCH EMERGENCY AND NECESSITY TO EXIST, AND HAVING REQUESTED THE SUSPENSION OF THE CHARTER RULE AND THAT THIS ORDINANCE BE PASSED FINALLY ON THE DATE OF ITS INTRODUCTION AND TAKE EFFECT AND BE IN FULL FORCE AND EFFECT FROM AND AFTER ITS PASSAGE, IT IS ACCORDINGLY 50 ORDAINED, THIS THE I. -.
