STREET BOND FUND, $17,397 IS FROM THE NO. 295 STORM SEWER
BOND FUND, $1,776 IS FROM THE NO. 250 SANITARY SEWER BOND
FUND R $1,328 IS FROM THE NO. 291 PARK BOND FUND, AND
$2,313 IS FROM THE NO. 245 AIRPORT BOND FUND, TO SUPPLEMENT .
$25,291 REMAINING FROM FUNDS PREVIOUSLY APPROPRIATED FOR
CONTINGENCIES AND INCIDENTAL EXPENSES APPLICABLE TO VARIOUS
PROJECTS AS SHOWN ON THE TABULATION PREPARED BY THE
ACCOUNTING DIVISION, A COPY OF WHICH IS ATTACHED HERETO,
MARKED EXHIBIT "A" AND IS MADE A PART HEREOF; AUTHORIZING
REIMBURSEMENT OF $73,562 TO THE NO. 102 GENERAL FUND FOR
ENGINEERING SERVICES PROVIDED DURING THE PERIOD OF AUGUST 1,
1971 THROUGH OCTOBER 31, 1971; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI,

SECTION 1. THERE IS HEREBY APPROPRIATED THE SUM OF $48,281 OF
WHICH $25,391 IS FROM THE NO. 220 STREET BOND FUND, $17,397 IS FROM THE
N0. 295 STORM SEWER BOND FUND, $1,776 IS FROM THE N0. 250 SANITARY SEWER
BOND FUND, $1,328 IS FROM THE NO. 291 PARK BOND FUND, AND $2,389 IS FROM
THE N0. 245 AIRPORT BOND FUND; THE FOREGOING AMOUNTS TO SUPPLEMENT FUNDS
IN THE AMOUNT OF $25,281 REMAINING FROM FUNDS PREVIOUSLY APPROPRIATED FOR
CONTINGENCIES AND INCIDENTAL EXPENSES APPLICABLE TO VARIOUS PROJECTS AS
SHOWN ON THE TABULATION PREPARED BY THE ACCOUNTING DIVISION, A COPY OF WHICH

SECTION 2. AUTHORIZING REIMBURSEMENT OF $73,562 TO THE NO. 102
GENERAL FUND FOR ENGINEERING SERVICES PROVIDED DURING THE PERIOD OF AUGUST 1,
1971 THROUGH OCTOBER 31, 1971.
SECTION 3. THE NECESSITY FOR MAKING REIMBURSEMENT TO REFLECT SUCH
EXPENDITURES AS ARE PROPERLY CHARGEABLE TO BOND FUNDS AS PROMPTLY AS POSSIBLE
CREATES A PUBLIC EMERGENCY AND IMPERATIVE PUBLIC NECESSITY REQUIRING THE SUS-
PENSION OF THE CHARTER RULE THAT NO ORDINANCE OR RESOLUTION SHALL BE PASSED
FINALLY ON THE DATE OF ITS INTRODUCTION BUT THAT SUCH ORDINANCE OR RESOLUTION
SHALL BE READ AT THREE SEVERAL MEETINGS OF THE CITY COUNCIL, AND THE MAYOR
HAVING DECLARED SUCH EMERGENCY AND NECESSITY TO EXIST, AND HAVING REQUESTED
THE SUSPENSION OF THE CHARTER RULE AND THAT THIS ORDINANCE BE PASSED FINALLY
ON THE DATE OF ITS INTRODUCTION AND TAKE EFFECT AND BE IN FULL FORCE AND EFFECT
FROM AND AFTER ITS PASSAGE IT IS ACCORDINGLY SO ORDAINED, THIS THE

FOR THE REASONS SET FORTH IN THE EMERGENCY CLAUSE OF THE FOREGOING
ORDINANCE, A PUBLIC EMERGENCY AND IMPERATIVE NECESSITY EXIST FOR THE SUSPEN-
SION OF THE CHARTER RULE OR REQUIREMENT THAT NO ORDINANCE OR RESOLUTION SHALL
BE PASSED FINALLY ON THE DATE IT 15 INTRODUCED,, AND THAT SUCH ORDINANCE OR
RESOLUTION SHALL BE READ AT THREE MEETINGS OF THE CITY COUNCIL; I, THEREFORE,
REQUEST THAT YOU SUSPEND SAID CHARTER RULE OR REQUIREMENT AND PASS THIS ORDI-
