HomeMy WebLinkAbout10743 ORD - 03/15/19723- 13- 72:jkh < AN ORDINANCE CLOSING AND ABANDONING A 10 -FOOT UTILITY EASEMENT IN LOT 3, BLOCK 1, EBONY ACRES ANNEX; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. WHEREAS, there exists a 10 -foot utility easement in Lot 3, Block 1, Ebony Acres Annex, in the City of Corpus Christi, Nueces County, Texas; and WHEREAS, it has been determined that the said easement is not now needed by the City, nor will it within the foreseeable future be needed by the City of Corpus Christi; and WHEREAS, it has been determined that it is to the advantage of the City to abandon the said 10 -foot easement so that the same may be used by the owners of the aforesaid property for other purposes: NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI,TEXAS: SECTION 1. That the 10 -foot utility easement existing in Lot 3, Block 1, Ebony Acres Annex, in the City of Corpus Christi, Nueces County, Texas, be and the same is closed and abandoned for public use and abandoned to • the owners of the said Lot 3, Block 1, Ebony Acres Annex. SECTION 2.
