HomeMy WebLinkAbout10942 ORD - 06/28/1972JRR:ml:6- 27- 72;lst AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING OUT OF NO. 250 SANITARY SEWER BOND FUND THE SUM OF $63660 FOR CONSTRUCTION OF AN 8 -INCH SANI- TARY SEWER LATERAL TO SERVE FOREST HILL LANE IN JACKSON PLACE SUBDIVISION, A PORTION OF PROJECT NO. 250-70 -80.6, JACKSON PLACE AND JACKSON TERRACE EXTENSION, PERFORMED BY CITY FORCES; AUTHORIZING THE REIMBURSEMENT OF 109 SEWER FUND FOR ALL AMOUNTS PREVIOUSLY ADVANCED AND TO BE ADVANCE FOR LABOR AND MATERIALS FOR THIS PROJECT FROM SAID 109 SEWER FUND FOR THE ABOVE PROJECT; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS : SECTION 1. There is hereby appropriated out of No. 250 Sanitary Sewer Bond Fund the sum of $6,660 for construction of an 8 -inch sanitary sewer lateral to serve Forest Hill Lane in Jackson Place Subdivision, a portion of Project No. 250 -70 -80.6, Jackson Place and Jackson Terrace. Extension, performed by City forces. SECTION 2. That reimbursement of No. 109 Sewer Fund for all amounts advanced and to be advanced for labor and materials for this project from the No. 109 Sewer Fund, is hereby authorized. SECTION 3. The necessity to reimburse the No. 109 Sewer Fund in the amount hereinabove set out creates a public emergency and imperative public necessity requiring the suspension of the Charter rule that no ordi- nance or resolution shall be passed finally on the date of its introduction but that such ordinance or resolution shall be read at three several meetings of the City Council, and the Mayor having declared such emergency and neces- sity to exist, and having requested the suspension of the Charter rule and that this ordinance be passed finally on the date of its introduction and take effect and be in full force and effect from and after its passage, IT IS ACCORDINGLY SO ORDAINED, this the o day of —, 1972.
