HomeMy WebLinkAbout10956 ORD - 07/05/1972' JRR.ml:7- 3- 72;lst ' r AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING OUT OF NO. 250 SANITARY SEWER BOND FUND $3,500 TO SUPPLEMENT FUNDS PREVIOUSLY APPROPRIATED BY ORDINANCE NO. 10585 FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF SANITARY SEWER EXTENSIONS FOR WESTERN HILLS, PROJECT NO. 250 -70- 80.4, BY BURTEX CONSTRUCTORS, INC.; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS: SECTION 1. .There is hereby appropriated out of No. 250 Sanitary Sewer Bond Fund $3,500 to supplement funds previously appropriated by ordi- nance No. 10585 for the construction of sanitary sewer extensions for Western Hills, Project No. 250 -70 -80.4, by Burtex Constructors, Inc. SECTION 2. The necessity to immediately provide the sums hereby appropriated for the construction of sanitary sewer extensions creates a public emergency and an imperative public necessity requiring the suspension of the Charter rule that no ordinance or resolution shall be passed finally on the date of its introduction but that such ordinance or resolution shall be read at three several meetings of the City Council, and the Mayor having declared such emergency and necessity to exist, having requested the suspension of the Charter rule and that this ordinance be passed finally on the date of its introduction and take effect and be in full force and effect from and after its passage, IT IS ACCORDINGLY SO ORDAINED, this the �P _day of July, 1972.
