HomeMy WebLinkAbout10989 ORD - 07/26/1972JRR:ml:7- 24- 72;lst AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING OUT OF NO. 250 SANITARY SEWER BOND FUND THE SUM OF $32,500 FOR CONSTRUCTION OF WASTEWATER COL- LECTION SYSTEM LATERALS AND 4 INCH TAPS ON DEER STREET, AND PORTIONS OF MCCAIN DRIVE, COUNTISS DRIVE, ROBBY DRIVE AND JAMES STREET, TO BE DONE BY CITY FORCES,APPLI- CABLE TO PROJECT 250 -70 -80.5, HIGHWAY VILLAGE SOUTH LATERALS; AUTHORIZING THE REIMBURSEMENT OF 109 SEWER FUND FOR ALL AMOUNTS ADVANCED AND TO BE ADVANCED FOR LABOR AND MATERIALS FOR THIS PROJECT FROM THE 109 SEWER FUND; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS: SECTION 1. There is hereby appropriated out of No. 250 Sanitary Sewer Bond Fund-the sum of'$32,500 for construction of wastewater collection system laterals and 4 inch taps on Deer Street, and portions of McCain Drive, Countiss Drive, Robby Drive and James Street, to be done by City forces, applicable to Project 250 -70 -80.5. SECTION 2. That reimbursement of No. 109 Sewer Fund for all amounts advanced and to be advanced for labor and materials for this project from the No. 109 Sewer Fund, is hereby authorized. SECTION 3. The necessity to reimburse the No. 109 Sewer Fund in the amount hereinabove set out creates a public emergency and imperative public necessity requiring the suspension of the Charter rule that no ordi- nance or resolution shall be passed finally on the date of its introduction but that such ordinance or resolution shall be read at three several meetings of the City Council, and the Mayor having declared such emergency and neces- sity to exist, and having requested the suspesnion of the Charter rule and that this ordinance be passed finally on the date of its introduction and take effect and be in full force and effect from and after its passage, IT .
