AN ORDINANCE
AMENDING SECTION 21 -68 OF THE CORPUS CHRISTI CITY CODE,
AS AMENDED, BY AMENDING THE SPEED LI11ITS ON MUNICIPAL
AIRPORT ENTRANCE ROAD, FROM THE SOUTH RIGHT OF WAY LINE
OF AGNES STREET (S.H. 44) TO A POINT 2700 FEET SOUTH,
BY INCREASING THE SAME TO 40 MILES PER HOUR; AMENDING
SECTION 21 -69 OF THE CORPUS CHRISTI CITY CODE, AS
AMENDED, BY ADDING AN ITEM THERETO SO AS TO DECREASE
THE SPEED ON A PORTION OF MUNICIPAL AIRPORT ENTRANCE
ROAD, FROM A POINT 350 FEET WEST OF THE AIRPORT TERMINAL
TO A POINT 350 FEET EAST OF THE AIRPORT TEP.MINAL, TO
20 MILES PER HOUR AT ALL TIMES; PROVIDING FOR PUBLICA-
TION; PROVIDING SEVERABILITY; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES
IN CONFLICT HEREWITH.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI,
TEXAS:
SECTION 1. That Section 21 -68 of the Corpus Christi City Code,
as amended, be and the same is hereby amended by adding the following item,
increasing the speed limits as follows:
"NAME OF STREET SPEED LIMIT EFFECTIVE
TIMES
Municipal Airport Entrance
Road:
From the south right of way
line of Agnes Street (S.H.44)
to a point 2700 feet south 40 mph At all times"
SECTION 2. That Section 21 -69 of the Corpus Christi City Code,
as amended,be and the same is hereby amended by adding the following item,
decreasing the speed limits as follows:
"NAME OF STREET SPEED LIMIT EFFECTIVE
TIMES
Municipal Airport Entrance
Road:
From a point 350 feet west
of the Airport Terminal,
to a point 350 feet east
of the Airport Terminal,
measured along the street
centerline 20 mph At all times"
SECTION 3. The changes as hereinabove set forth are to become
effective when the streets described are so signed.
SECTION 4. Publication shall be made in the official publication
of the City of Corpus Christi one time which publication shall contain the
caption stating in substance the purpose of the ordinance.

SECTION 5. If for any reason any section, paragraph, subdivision,
clause, phrase, word, or provision of this ordinance shall be held invalid
or unconstitutional by final judgment of a court of competent jurisdiction it
shall not affect any other section, paragraph, subdivision, clause, phrase,
word, or provision of this ordinance, for it is the definite intent of this
City Council that every section, paragraph, subdivision, clause, phrase, word,
or provision hereof be given full force and effect for its purpose.
SECTION 6. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith shall be and are hereby repealed to the extent of conflict herewith.
