AN ORDINANCE
APPROPRIATING OUT OF NO. 220 STREET BOND FUND $460,
OF WHICH $375 IS FOR THE COST OF DEMOLISHING AND
REMOVING TWO WOOD FRAME STRUCTURES AND $85 IS FOR
RELOCATION OF A FENCE, ALL IN CONNECTION WITH PROJECT
NO. 220- 67 -94, STAPLES- BALDWIN INTERSECTION IMPROVEMENTS;
AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI,
SECTION 1. There is hereby appropriated out of the No. 220
Street Bond Fund $460, of which $375 is for the cost of demolishing and
removing two wood frame structures and $85 is for the relocation of a
fence, all in connection with Project No. 220- 67 -94, Staples - Baldwin
Intersection Improvements.
SECTION 2. The necessity to immediately appropriate the neces-
sary sums in order that the Staples - Baldwin Intersection Improvements may
proceed without delay creates a public emergency and an imperative public
necessity requiring the suspension of the Charter rule that no ordinance
or resolution shall be passed finally on the date of its introduction and
that such ordinance or resolution shall be read at three several meetings
of the City Council, and the Mayor having declared that such emergency
and necessity exist, having requested the suspension of the-Charter rule
and that this ordinance be passed finally on the date of its introduction
and take effect and be in full force and effect from and after its passage,
IT IS ACCORDINGLY SO ORDAINED, this the .23 ,�_ day of August, 1972.
