AN ORDINANCE
AMENDING THE CORPUS CHRISTI CITY CODE 1958, AS
AMENDED, BY AMENDING SECTION 19D -4(d) SO AS TO
REQUIRE INSTALLATION OF A TWO -WAY RADIO IN EACH
EMERGENCY AMBULANCE; PROVIDING FOR SEVERANCE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI,

SECTION 1. That the Corpus Christi City Code, 1958, as amended, be
amended by amending Section 19D -4(d) to hereafter read as follows:
"That each emergency ambulance contains necessary emergency equip-
ment, including a two -way radio on the Corpus Christi Police frequency, in
proper condition and ready for use in compliance with regulations issued by
the Permit Officer according to procedure set forth in Section 19D -16.1. "
SECTION 2. If for any reason any section, paragraph, subdivision,
clause, phrase, word, or provision of this ordinance shall be held invalid or
unconstitutional by final judgment of a court of competent jurisdiction, it
shall not affect any other section, paragraph, subdivision, clause, phrase,
word, or provision of this ordinance, for it is the definite intent of this
City Council that every section, paragraph, subdivision, clause, phrase, word,
or provision hereof be given full force and effect for its purpose.
