BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, SECTION 1. That the City Secretary be, and he is hereby, directed to publish the attached form of notice for a hearing to consider annexation of properties described in said form notice at a public hearing to be held in the City Council Chambers on November 8, 1972, at 4:30 P.M. . SECTION 2. The necessity to immediately publish the aforesaid notice of public hearing in order to give notice to the public concerning annexation of certain properties described creates a public emergency and an imperative public necessity requiring the suspension of the Charter rule that no ordinance or resolution shall be passed finally on the date of its introduction and that such ordinance or resolution shall be read at three several meetings of the City Council, and the Mayor having declared such emergency and necessity to exist; and having requested the suspension of the Charter rule and that this ordinance be passed finally on the date of its introduction and take effect and be in full force and effect from and after its passage, IT IS ACCORDINGLY SO ORDAINED, this the 25th day of October, 1972. Road 624, a distance of 2900 feet more or less to its intersection with the West boundary line of a 225.2 acre tract of land now or formerly in the name of Farrell J.
