HomeMy WebLinkAbout11159 ORD - 11/08/1972JRR:m1:11 -7 -72 ;1st L • AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO ACCEPT THE PROPOSAL OF INTERNATIONAL AERIAL MAPPING COMPANY TO PROVIDE AERIAL PHOTOGRPAHY AND PREPARE PLANAMETRIC PLAN AND PROFILE SHEETS FOR THE SOUTH STAPLES STREET IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT; APPROPRIATING OUT OF THE NO. 220 STREET BOND FUND $2,275 FOR SAID SERVICES APPLICABLE TO PROJECT NO. 220 -70 -107; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS: SECTION 1. That the City Manager be and he is hereby authorized to accept the proposal of International Aerial Mapping Company to provide aerial photography and prepare planametric plan and profile sheets for the South Staples Street Improvements, Project No. 220 -70 -107. SECTION 2. There is hereby appropriated out of No. 220 Street Bond Fund the sum of $2,275 for aerial photography and preparation of planametric plan and profile sheets. SECTION 3. The necessity to make the appropriation as herein - above set forth in order that the project may proceed without delay creates a public emergency and an imperative public necessity requiring the suspension of the Charter rule that no ordinance or resolution shall be passed finally on the date of its introduction and that such ordinance or resolution shall be read at three several meetings of the City Council, and the Mayor having declared that such emergency and necessity exist, having requested that such Charter rule be suspended and that this ordinance be passed finally on the date of its intro- duction and take effect and be in full force and effect from and after its passage, IT IS ACCORDINGLY SO ORDAINED s the C day of November, 1972.
