WEISER, FOR THE ACQUISITION OF PARCEL NO. 1 REQUIRED FOR THE CONSTRUC- TION OF RICHTER AREA STREET IMPROVEMENTS; APPROPRIATING OUT OF THE NO. 220 STREET BOND FUND $5,005.50 OF WHICH $4,868.50 IS FOR THE LAND ACQUISITION AND $137 IS FOR INCIDENTAL EX- PENSES RELATED TO THE CLOSING OF THE PURCHASE, ALL APPLICABLE TO PROJECT NO. 22o -67 -92.6; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. • BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS: SECTION 1. THAT THE CITY MANAGER BE, AND HE IS HEREBY, AUTHORIZED TO EXECUTE A REAL ESTATE SALES CONTRACT WITH OSWALD J. WEISER AND WIFE, BARBARA 1. WEISER, FOR THE ACQUISITION OF PARCEL N0. 1 REQUIRED FOR THE CON- STRUCTION OF RICHTER AREA STREET IMPROVEMENTS. SECTION 2. THERE IS HEREBY APPROPRIATED THE SUM OF $5,005.50 OUT OF THE NO. 220 STREET BOND FUND, OF WHICH $4,868.50 IS FOR THE LAND ACQUISITION AND $137 IS FOR INCIDENTAL EXPENSES RELATED TO THE CLOSING OF THE PURCHASE, ALL APPLICABLE TO PROJECT NO. 22o -67 -92.6. SECTION 3. HOWARD STARK PRELDIINARY ASSESS1,1ENT ROLL • REVISED 8 -4 -72 RICHTER AREA STREET IMPROVEENTS This project is described as Richter Area Street Improvements and includes a number of streets as listed below: 1. Richter Street, from South Padre Island Drive to a point 558.61 to include the Road or from South Padre Island Drive for approximately 2,430' 41 feet wide N/w 98' of Lot 1, Block 2, Southland Estates 2. Johanna, Milo, and Sacky, from Richter Street to Ayers Street 28 feet wide 3. Sokol Drive, from Richter Street to Kostoryz Road 37 feet wide 4. Hygeia Street, from Ayers Street to Municipal Service Center Road or from the center line of Ayers Street southeastwardly for a distance of approximately wide 763.7' The streets are to be constructed by excavating to a width and depth to permit the cross section in of 6" curb and gutter sections and the installation of pavement varying from 8" caliche and 1" hot -mix asphalt to 10" caliche and 2" hot -mix asphalt, all over 6" compacted subgrade to the width shown above. Also to be constructed on this project are reinforced concrete sidewalks 4' and 5' wide, 4" thick and driveways where needed and requested by property owners. Storm sewers as needed to properly drain the streets are also included. The assessment rates have been determined in accordance with the City policy and by footage the low bid submitted by Heldenfels Brothers and applyi n these g P of the abutting property.
