A RESOLUTION
ADOPTING HIGHWAY COMMISSION MINUTE ORDER
NO. 66985, DATED DECEMBER 11, 1972, CON-
CERNING INSTALLATION OF AN ILLUMINATION
SYSTEM FOR INTRACOASTAL WATERWAY BRIDGE
AND APPROACHES IN NUECES COUNTY, TEXAS
ON PARK ROAD 22, ALL AS MORE FULLY SET
FORTH IN THE SAID MINUTE ORDER; AND
DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.

WHEREAS, the State Highway Department has submitted
a copy of Minute Order No. 66985, passed by the State Highway
Commission on December 11, 1972, as follows:
"WHEREAS, in NUECES COUNTY on PARK ROAD 22, the
City of Corpus Christi has requested the con-
struction of an Illumination System for Intra-
coastal Waterway Bridge and Approaches, in Nueces
County, Texas.
WHEREAS, the City of Corpus Christi has requested
such construction under the portion of Minute Order
No. 61624 whereby the State Highway Department and
City of Corpus Christi will participate on an equal
basis with the construction, maintenance and operating
cost of such facility;
NOW, THEREFORE, the State Highway Engineer is directed
to proceed with the construction of an Illumination
System on this basis, at an estimated State cost of
$14,000.
This Order is subject to acceptance by the City of
Corpus Christi and if not accepted within 90 days
of the date hereof, the action herein contained shall
be automatically cancelled."
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS:
SECTION 1. That Minute Order No. 66985, passed and
approved by the State Highway Commission on December 11, 1972,
regarding construction of an Illumination System for Intracoastal
Waterway Fridge and Approaches, in Nueces County, Texas, be and
the same is hereby adopted by the City of Corpus Christi, Texas.
PASSED AND APPROVED, this the 3J_ day of January,
1973.

SION OF THE CHARTER RULE OR REQUIREMENT THAT NO ORDINANCE OR RESOLUTION SHALL
BE PASSED FINALLY ON THE DATE IT IS INTRODUCED, AND THAT SUCH ORDINANCE OR
RESOLUTION SHALL BE READ AT THREE MEETINGS OF THE CITY COUNCIL; I, THEREFORE,
REQUEST THAT YOU SUSPEND SAID CHARTER RULE OR REQUIREMENT AND PASS THIS ORDI-
NANCE FINALLY ON THE DATE IT IS INTRODUCED, OR AT THE PRESENT MEETING OF THE
CITY COUNCIL.
