HomeMy WebLinkAbout11263 ORD - 01/17/1973JRR:ml:1- 16- 11:lst ` y • AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING OUT OF THE NO. 207 PUBLIC BUILDING BOND FUND $1,880 FOR THE PURCHASE OF AN EMERGENCY POWER GENERATOR FOR THE FLOUR BLUFF FIRE STATION, PROJECT NO. 207 -64 -1; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS: SECTION 1. There is hereby appropriated out of the No. 207 Public Building Bond Fund the sum of $1,880 for the purchase�of an emergency power generator for the Flour Bluff Fire Station, Project No. 207 -64 -1. SECTION 2. The necessity to appropriate the sums hereinabove described in order to obtain and provide an emergency power generator for the Flour Bluff Fire Station creates a public emergency and imperative public necessity requiring the suspension of the Charter rule that no ordinanc: or resolution shall be passed finally oa the date of its introduction - but that such ordinance or resolution shall be read at three several meetings of the City Council, and the Mayor having declarod such emergency and neces- sity to exist, and having requested the suspension of the Charter rule and this ordinance be passed finally on the date of its introduction and take effect and be in full force and effect from and after its passage, IT IS ACCORDINGLY SO ORDAINED, this the day of January, 1973.
