HomeMy WebLinkAbout11509 ORD - 06/06/1973OJRR:vp:6 /5/73:lst �w t ' AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING OUT OF NO. 291 PARK BOND FUND $133.15 TO SUPPLEMENT FUNDS PREVIOUSLY APPROPRIATED BY ORDINANCE NO. 10849, SO AS TO PROVIDE ADDITIONAL SUMS FOR THE CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT BY ASPHALT PAVING & CONSTRUCTION COMPANY FOR HUDSON ACRES PARK IMPROVE- MENTS, PROJECT NO. 291 -70 -10.2; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS: 0 SECTION 1. There is hereby appropriated out of No. 291 Park Bond Fund the sum of $133.15 to supplement funds previously appropriated by Ordinance No. 10849, so as to provide additional sums for the construction contract, performed by Asphalt Paving and Construction Company for Hudson Acres Park Improvements, Project No. 291 -70 -10.2. SECTION 2. The necessity to immediately appropriate the sums here- inabove described in order to provide sufficient funds for the completion of the Hudson Acres Park Improvements creates a public emergency and an imperative public necessity requiring the suspension of the Charter rule that no ordinance or resolution shall be passed finally on the date of its introduction but that such ordinance or resolution shall be read at three several meetings of the City Council, and the Mayor having declared such emergency and necessity to exist, and having requested the suspension of the Charter rule and that this ordinance be passed finally on the dace of its introduction and take effect and be in full force and effect from and after its passage, IT IS ACCORDINGLY SO ORDAINED, this the 4xf.day of June, 1973.
