HomeMy WebLinkAbout11527 ORD - 06/20/1973JRR:vp:6 /18/73:1st TEXAS: AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING THE SUM OF $88,642.21 AS FOLLOWS: $74,399.91 FROM NO. 220 STREET BOND FUND $ 7,637.36 FROM NO. 295 STORM SEWER BOND FUND $ 3,845.09 FROM NO. 296 STORM SEWER BOND FUND $ 1,325.20 FROM NO. 250 SANITARY SEWER BOND FUND $ 311.87 FROM NO. 251 SANITARY SEWER BOND FUND $ 1,122.78 FROM NO. 245 AIRPORT BOND FUND TO SUPPLEMENT $9,232.37 REMAINING FROM FUNDS PRE- VIOUSLY APPROPRIATED FOR CONTINGENCIES AND INCI- DENTAL EXPENSES, APPLICABLE TO VARIOUS PROJECTS AS SHOWN ON THE ATTACHED TABULATION MARKED EXHIBIT "A" AND MADE A PART HEREOF; AUTHORIZING REIMBURSE- MENT OF $97,874.58 TO THE NO. 102 GENERAL FUND FOR ENGINEERING SERVICES PROVIDED DURING THE PERIOD OF FEBRUARY 1, 1973, TO APRIL 30, 1973; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, SECTION 1. That there is hereby appropriated the sum of $88,642.21 as follows: 1. $74,399.91 from No. 220 Street Bond Fund 2. $ 7,637.36 from No. 295 Storm Sewer Bond Fund 3. $ 3,845.09 from No. 296 Storm Sewer Bond Fund 4. $ 1,325.20 from No. 250 Sanitary Sewer Bond Fund 5. $ 311.87 from No. 251 Sanitary Sewer Bond Fund Y 6. $ 1,122.78 from No. 245 Airport Bond Fund which will supplement $9,232.37 ramaining from fluids previously appropriated e for contingencies and incidental expenses, applicable to various projects as shown on the tabulation prepared by the Accounting Division, a copy of which is attached hereto, marked Exhibit "A ", and made a part hereof. SECTION 2. That reimbursement is hereby authorized in the amount of $97,874.58 to the No. 102 General Fund for engineering services provided during the period of February 1, 1973, to April 30, 1973. SECTION 3. The necessity to authorize the appropriation of the necessary funds and the reimbursement of the General Fund at the earliest possible date creates a public emergency and an imperative public necessity requiring the suspension of the Charter rule that no ordinance or resolution shall be passed finally on the date of its introduction but that such ordinance JA52 or resolution shall be read at three several meetings of the City Council, and the Mayor having declared such emergency and necessity to exist, and having requested the suspension of the Charter rule and that this ordinance be passed finally on the date of its introduction and take effect and be in full force and effect from and after its passage, IT IS ACCORDINGLY SO ORDAINED, this the a0-zP- day of June, 1973.
