Home My WebLink About11642 ORD - 08/22/1973JRR:jkh:8 -8 -73; 2nd AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING INSTALLATION OF 27 PARKING METERS AT THE CORPUS CHRISTI INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT ALONG THE CURB OF THE ISLAND LOCATED BETWEEN THE TERMINAL BUILDING AND THE MAIN PARKING LOT, IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE ATTACHED SCHEMATICS, MARKED EXHIBIT "A "; ESTABLISHING A RATE FOR PARKING AT SAID METERS OF TWENTY CENTS (204) FOR EACH HALF -HOUR OR TEN CENTS (104) FOR 15 MINUTES; PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE; PROVIDING FOR REPEAL OF ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; PROVIDING A SAVINGS CLAUSE; PROVIDING FOR PUBLICATION. • BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS: SECTION 1. That authorization is hereby given for installation of 27 parking meters at the Corpus Christi International Airport along the curb of the island located between the Terminal. Building and the main parking lot, in accordance with the attached schematic diagrams attached hereto and incorporated herein, marked Exhibit "A ", and there is established the following rates for parking at the aforesaid meters: For 30 minutes of parking, $.20 For 15 minutes of parking, $.10 For customer convenience, 25 -cent coins will operate the meter for thirty (30) minutes. SECTION 2. The terms of this ordinance shall become effective from and after September 1, 1973. SECTION 3. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith be and the same are hereby repealed to the extent of conflict. SECTION 4. If for any reason any section, paragraph, subdivision, clause, phrase, word, or provision of this ordinance shall be held invalid or unconstitutional by final judgment of a court of competent jurisdiction it shall not affect any other section, paragraph, subdivision, clause, phrase, word, or provision of this ordinance, for it is the definite intent of this City Council that every section, paragraph, subdivision, clause, phrase, word, or provision hereof be given full force and effect for its purpose. SECTION 5.
