CLEMENTE GARZA FOR A CASH PAYMENT OF $450; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, SECTION 1. That the City Manager be authorized to convey the following described parcel or tract of land, situated in Corpus Christi, Nueces County, Texas, to Clemente Garza upon the payment of the cash consideration of $450: The East 28.904 feet of the West 86.712 feet of Lots 4 and 5, Block 9, Extension to South End, being situated at 1717 Coleman. SECTION 2. The necessity to immediately authorize the execution of the aforesaid deed in order to facilitate the sale of the above described parcel of land creates a public emergency and an imperative public necessity requiring the suspension of the Charter rule that no ordinance or resolution shall be passed finally on the date of its introduction but that such ordinance or resolution shall be read at three several meetings of the City Council and the Mayor having declared that such emergency and necessity exist, and having requested the suspension of the Charter rule and that this ordinance passed finally on the date of its introduction and take effect and be in full force and effect from and after its passage, IT IS ACCORDINGLY SO ORDAINED, this the / �;� day of September, 1973. ATTEST: City Secrety l APP JAAY OF SEPTEMBER, 1973: _ C Z-= MAYOR THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS '911700 JRR:cd:9- 17- 73:1st SPECIAL WARRANTY DEED THE STATE OF TEXAS I I KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS: COUNTY OF NUECES I That we, CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, of the County of Nueces, State of Texas, for and in consideration of the sum of Four Hundred Fifty and No /100 Dollars ($450.00), cash to us in hand paid by Clemente Garza as follows: All cash in hand paid, the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged, have GRANTED, SOLD AND CONVEYED, and by these presents do GRANT, SELL AND CONVEY, unto, the said Clemente Garza, of the County of Nueces, State of Texas, all that certain land situated in Nueces County, Texas, described as follows: The East 28.904 feet of the West 86.712 feet of Lots 4 and 5, Block 9, Extension to South End, an addition to the City of Corpus Christi, Nueces County, Texas. TO HAVE AND TO HOLD the above described premises, together with all and singular the rights and appurtenances thereto in anywise belonging unto the said Clemente Garza, his heirs and assigns forever, and we do hereby bind ourselves and our heirs, executors and administrators, to warrant and forever defend, all and singular the said premises unto the said Clemente Garza, his heirs and assigns against every person whomsoever lawfully claiming by, through or under grantor.
