HomeMy WebLinkAbout11869 ORD - 01/09/1974• JRR:jkh:hb:1/7/74:lst • AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING OUT OF NO.291 PARR BOND FUND THE SUM OF $7,874.96 FOR REIMBURSEMENT OF THE NO.102 GENERAL FUND, ACTIVITY 4122, CODE 603, FOR LABOR, EQUIPMENT, AND MATERIALS USED FOR PARR IMPROVEMENTS, OF WHICH $4,015.26 IS APPLICABLE TO PROJECT NO.291 -72 -9, FLOUR BLUFF PARR; AND $3,859.70 IS APPLICABLE TO PROJECT NO.291 -70 -10.8, COUNTRY CLUB ESTATES PARR; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS: SECTION 1. There is hereby appropriated out of No. 291 Park Bond Fund the sum of $7,874.96 for reimbursement of the No. 102 General Fund, Activity 4122, Code 603, for labor, equipment and materials used for park improvements, of which $4,015.26 is applicable to Project No. 291 -72 -9, Flour Bluff Park, and $3,859.70 is applicable to Project No. 291 -70 -10.8, Country Club Estates Park. SECTION 2. The necessity to immediately appropriate the hereinabove described sums in order that reimbursement of the No. 102 General Fund may be made creates a public emergency and an imperative public necessity requiring the suspension of the Charter rule that no ordinance or resolution shall be passed finally on the date of its introduction and that such ordinance or resolution shall be read at three several meetings of the City Council, and the Mayor having declared such emergency and necessity to exist, and having requested the suspension of the Charter rule and that this ordinance be passed finally on the date of its introduction and take effect and be in full force and effect from and after its passage, IT IS ACCORDINGLY SO ORDAINED, this the day of January, 1974.
