AN ORDINANCE
REPEALING ORDINANCE NO. 11392; APPROVING A NEW RATE
SCHEDULE FOR THE FURNISHING OF ELECTRICITY AND
ELECTRIC SERVICE WITHIN THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI,
TEXAS, BY CENTRAL POWER & LIGHT COMPANY; REQUIRING
A WRITTEN STATEMENT ON COST OF FUEL; PROVIDING THAT
THIS ORDINANCE SHALL NOT LIMIT POWERS OF REGULATION
OF THE CITY; PROVIDING SEVERABILITY; AND PROVIDING AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, Central Power and Light Company has appeared before the
City Council requesting approval of new rates for furnishing electricity
and electric service within the City of Corpus Christi; and
WHEREAS, a public hearing was held on such request on December 13,
1972, and continuing as a recessed hearing on December 19, 1972, January 3,
1973, January 31, 1973, and on the supplement to such application on April 24,
1974; and
WHEREAS, at such hearings representatives of Central Power & Light
Company, Corpus Christi Consumers Association, the City and citizens appeared
and gave evidence and supporting data regarding the Company's fair value
rate base and fair rate of return, using 1972 as an agreed test year, and
supplemented by current value of property, revenue and expense data, and on
the requested rates and schedules; and
WHEREAS, at the completion of said original public hearings the
City Council passed and approved, on March 21, 1973, Ordinance No. 11,392;
and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Article VIII, Section 7 of the Charter of
the City of Corpus Christi, Central Power and Light Company heretofore filed
a Motion for Rehearing, which Motion was duly heard by the City Council on
July 2, 1973 without finally acting thereon within the prescribed sixty (60)
day period allowed same to be overruled by operation of law; and
WHEREAS, the City Council, after hearing all evidence and argu-
ments regarding said rate request at said original public hearing, at the
hearing on Central Power and Light Company's Motion for Rehearing, and at
hearings on the supplement to such application, has carefully considered
same, and finds that the new rate schedules hereinafter ratified and approved
are just and reasonable, will yield a fair return upon the fair value of the

Company's property, and are not in excess of those necessary to attract
capital and assure confidence in the financial integrity of the Company:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS:
SECTION 1. That the maximum charges for electricity within said
City shall be those set forth in the said Electric Rate Schedules and Terms
and Conditions, copies of which are attached hereto and made a part hereof,
which Schedules and Terms and Conditions are hereby in all things approved,
ratified, confirmed, accepted, and filed in substitution for any and all
Electric Rate Schedules and Terms and Conditions heretofore filed by said
Central Power and Light Company with this governing body.
SECTION 2. The City Council further determines and finds hereby
that the charges for electricity shall be subject to adjustment in line with
the cost of fuel to Central Power and Light Company, the adjustments in
charges to be made in accordance with and as set out in the fuel adjustment
clause of each of the said Rate Schedules attached hereto and made a part
hereof.
SECTION 3. Whenever the Company applies to its customer billing
an increase or decrease in the service charge based on a change in the average
delivered cost of fuel to the Company during the preceding month before such
change is billed which is in excess of five cents per million BTU,
a written statement of such change in the average delivered cost of fuel
shall be filed with and officially presented to the City Council in open
meeting prior to the date any customer bill incorporating said change is
mailed.
On or before January 37 of each year, Central Power and Light
Company shall furnish the City a written statement showing the average
delivered cost of fuel per million BTU to the Company during the preceding
12 -month period ending December 31, and the resulting accumulated change in
rates from the 1972 year base as result of such cost of gas.
SECTION 4. It is not intended that the provisions of this ordi-
nance shall in any way restrict or limit the powers of rate regulation by

the City, nor constitute a waiver of the right to re- determine the rates
applicable within the City at any time, and require the furnishing to the
City of such information as the City may deem necessary for the purpose of
considering any such re- determination of rates.
SECTION 5. That Ordinance No. 11,392 is hereby repealed in its
entirety.
SECTION 6. If for any reason any section, paragraph, subdivision,
clause, phrase, word, or provision of this ordinance shall be held invalid
or unconstitutional by final judgment of a court of competent jurisdiction
it shall not affect any other section, paragraph, subdivision, clause,
phrase, word or provision of this ordinance, for it is the definite intent
of this City Council that every section, paragraph, subdivision, clause,
phrase, word or provision hereof be given full force and effect for its
purpose.
SECTION 7. The charges and Terms and Conditions prescribed in
this ordinance shall apply to all electricity used by each customer to
whom such charges and Terms and Conditions are applicable, as soon as
practicable from and after each such customer's first regular meter reading
following the effective date of this ordinance.
SECTION 8. This ordinance and the terms and conditions contained
herein shall be and become effective from and after the date of final
passage hereof.
SECTION '9. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith are hereby repealed to the extent of such conflict.

Single or three phase, 60 hertz, service will bye supplied at Company's
standard secondary voltage.
NET MONTHLY RATE
$2.50 which includes 10 kilowatt hours

Minimum Monthly Bill

FUEL COST ADJUSTMENT
The monthly bill will be increased or decreased at the rate of .00330
($0.000033) per kilowatt hour for each full one - fourth cent by which the
average delivered cost of fuel to the Company during the preceding month
exceeds twenty cents or is less than fifteen cents for that quantity of fuel
used containing one million BTU.
DETERMINATION OF DEMAND
The Customer's maximum demand will be the kilowatt load established by Customer
during the 15- minute period of maximum use during the month. In case the
Customer has a highly fluctuating load, provision may be made for measuring
the demand over a shorter interval or, for use of Customer's connected load
instead of measured demand, to determine the Customer's maximum demand for
billing purposes. The demand will be measured when Customer's energy
consumption exceeds 1,400 kilowatt hours, and /or, when Customer's total
connected load exceeds 25 horsepower in motors or other Inductive -type
equipment.

RESIDENTIAL ELECTRIC SERVICE
AVAILABILITY
This schedule is available for electric service used for residential purposes
in individual private dwellings and in individually metered apartments.
Where two housekeeping units are served through one meter, the minimum bill
and the kilowatt hour steps other than the water heater block will be doubled
for billing purposes. Where more than two housekeeping units or apartments
are served through one meter, billing will be on the applicable non- residen-
tial rate.
TYPE OF SERVICE
The electric service furnished hereunder will be single phase, 60 hertz, at the
Company's standard secondary voltage. Three phase service will be furnished
as provided in Company's published Terms and Conditions Governing Electric
Service.
NET MONTHLY RATE
Section I
$1.25 which Includes 10 kilowatt hours
5.35¢ each for next 40 kilowatt hours
3.00¢ each for next 100 kilowatt hours
2.15¢ each for next 350 kilowatt hours
1.900 each for next 500 kilowatt hours
1.700 each for next 9,000 kilowatt hours
1.350 each for all additional kilowatt hours
Minimum Monthly Bill - $1.25 per month
Section 2
Water Heater Service - Uncontrolled
A Customer having in regular use one or more approved type electric water
heaters will be allowed up to 400 Kwh per month as water heater use to be
billed at 1.200 per kilowatt hour provided the first 200 Kwh of use is billed
at the regular rate.
Water Heater Specifications
1. All single - family dwelling units and all multi - family dwelling units
having provisions for Individual laundry facilities must have at least one
water heater having not less than 40 gallons capacity or must have multiple
heaters having a combined capacity of at least 50 gallons.
2. Individually metered mobile homes and multi - family dwelling units without
provisions for individual laundry facilities must have at least one water
heater having not less than 30 gallons capacity.

3. The capacity of any single heating element must not exceed 6,000 watts.
4. The heating elements of twin element water heaters will be so controlled
that not more than one element can operate at any one time.
Section 3
Space Heating Service - Winter Months Only
When all electric service used on the premises is supplied through one meter,
and when electricity is the sole source of energy for all comfort heating on
the premises, and when all electric space heating equipment is permanently
installed, the first 500 Kwh used per month will be billed on the rate in
Section I, and, during the Winter Monthly only, all kilowatt hours used in
excess of 500 will be billed at 1.20¢ per kilowatt hour.
Section 4
Space Heating Service with Water Heating Service - Winter Months Only
I. If kilowatt hours are less than 900, customers will be billed under
Section 2.
2. If kilowatt hours are 900 or more, customers will be billed under Section 3
WINTER MONTHS
Winter Months as used herein will be the five months service period beginning
when meters are read in the October 19th - November, 19th meter reading period
and ending when meters are read In the March 19th - April 19th meter reading
period. Bill dates are from November 25th - April 25th, inclusive.
FUEL COST ADJUSTMENT
The monthly bill will be increased or decreased at the rate of .0033¢
($0.000033) per kilowatt hour for each full one - fourth cent by which the
average delivered cost of fuel tothe Company during the preceding month
exceeds twenty cents or is less than fifteen cents'for that quantity of fuel
used containing one million BTU.
TERMS OF PAYMENT
All bills are due when rendered.

Minimum Monthly Bill
The minimum monthly bill will be the demand charge but not less than $1.00
per horsepower of the largest motor or other inductive -type electric device
connected.

($0.000033) per kilowatt hour for each full one - fourth cent by which the
average delivered cost of fuel to the Company during the preceding month

The Customer's billing demand will be the kilowatt load established by Customer

APPLICABLE
To service furnished for space heating equipment (heat pump or resistance
heating) during the winter months only, when used in conjunction with rate
schedule for water heating service as modified by Terms and Conditions below.
NET MONTHLY RATE

Same adjustment per Kwh in effect for Residential Electric Service,
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Service will be furnished under the Company's Terms and Conditions applicable
to Water Heater Service and the following additional Terms and Conditions:
1. Electric service will be supplied during the winter months to the
permanently installed and connected 230 -volt electric space heating
equipment through a separate circuit to be installed by the customer to
v which no other equipment may be connected except air conditioning
equipment used in conjunction with the space heating equipment.
2. The Customer will also supply general service house wiring and water
heater circuit wiring so that there can be readily Installed adjacent to
the meters a switching device, to be furnished by the Company, to connect
the electric space heating circuit to the meter serving the water heater
during the winter months and to the meter registering the general house
service during the summer months. The space heating circuit and all
water heating service will be uncontrolled as to time and hours of
operation.
3. Winter Months:
Winter Months as used herein will be the five months service period
beginning when meters are read in the October 19th - November 19th meter
reading period and ending when meters are read in the March 19th -
April 19th meter reading period. Bill dates are from November 26th to
April 25th, inclusive.
4. Summer Months:
Summer Months as used herein will.be that.portion of the year which
is not included in the Winter Months ry(Section 3 above).

TERMS OF PAYMENT
All bills are due when rendered.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Service will be furnished under the Company's Standard Terms and Conditions
and the following additional terms and conditions pertaining to this rate:
I. Service will be supplied through a separate circuit which will be, installed
by Customer to which no equipment except the heating elements of the
water heater may be connected. This service will be measured through a
separate meter owned and maintained by the Company and located at the point
of delivery for Customer's regular service.
2. The capacity of the individual heating elements will not exceed 225 watts
per gallon of storage tank capacity or 54 kilowatts.
3. All multiple dwelling units having provisions for individual laundry
facilities must have at least one 40 gallon capacity water heater when
each dwelling unit is provided with an individual water heater unit. 1'
laundry facilities are not provided for the individual dwelling unit, the
water heater size may be reduced to 30 gallon capacity. The capacity of
any single dwelling unit heating element ::ill riot exceed 6,000 watts..
The heating elements of twin element water heaters will be so controlled
that nol more than one element can operate at any one time.

COMMERCIAL SPACE HEATING RIDER
AVAILABILITY
This Rider is available for electric service during the Winter Months to
Customer receiving electric service on Company's Combined Lighting and Power
Rate Schedule, Industrial Power Schedule, or General Service Rate Schedules
who have in regular use, permanently installed for space heating purposes, not
less than 5 kilowatts of electric space heating equipment consisting of a
reverse cycle heat pump and /or resistance -type space heating equipment,
provided that electricity is used as heat source for all comfort space heating
in tho electric air - conditioned areas on Customer's premises.
During the Winter Months, any space heating equipment served hereunder will be
connected to a separate space heating electric circuit. Said separate circuit
will be installed by Custorer and will be terminated at metering point for
Customer's regular service and will be used only to supply service to equipmenl
used for' comfort space heating or to an integral ail - electric heating and
cooling system. Electric service furnished to the space heating circuit will
be metered separately from Customer's other service requirements.
MONTHLY RAZE - DURING WINTER MONTHS
1.450 each for the first 5,000 kilowatt hours supplied to the space heating
circuit.
1.20¢ each for all additional kilowatt hours supplied to the space heating
circuit.
FUEL COST ADJUSTMENT
The monlhly hill will be increased or decreased at the rate of .0033¢
(50.000033) per kilowatt hour for each full one - fourih cent by which the
average delivered cost of fuel to the Company during the preceding month

COMMERCIAL HEATING RIDER FOR GREENHOUSES
AVAILABILITY
This Rider is available under Company's Contract for Electric Service during
the Winter Months, to Customers receiving electric service on Company's
Combined Lighting and Power Rate Schedule or General Service Rate Schedules
who have in regular use, permanently installed for heating purposes in the
Greenhouse area, not less than 35 KW of electric heating equipment, provided
that electricity is used as the sole heat source in the Greenhouse area.
Heating equipment served hereunder will be connected to a separate heating
circuit: Said separate circuit will be installed by Customer, and will be
terminated at metering point for Customer's regular service, and will be
used only to supply service to equipment used for heating the Greenhouse area.
MONTHLY RATE
During the Winter Months, Customer will be billed on Rate CH -08, Commercial
Space Heating Rider. During the Summer Months, any kilowatt hours registered
by the meter on the heating circuit will be added to the registration of the
kilowatthour meter on Customer's regular service for billing on rate schedule
applicable to Customer's total load.
Customer will pay monthly, in addition to his billing for service, an amount
equal to 1.67% of the excess investment Company has made to serve Customer's
Greenhouse heating load, over that investment Company would have made had no
Greenhouse heating equipment been served hereunder.
WINTER MONTHS
Winter Months, as used herein, will be the five months service period
beginning when Customer's meter is read in the October 19th - November 19th
meter reading period and ending when meter is read In the March 19th -
April 19th meter reading period. Bill dates are from November 26th to
April 25th, inclusive.
SUMMER MONTHS
Summer Months, as used herein, will be that portion of the year which is not
included in Winter Months.
METERING
Customer's regular service will be metered in accordance with the requirements
for billing on the applicable Rate Schedule for said service.
Customer's Greenhouse heating circuit will be separately metered by means of
a plain register kilowatthour meter with the kilowatthours registered during
the Winter Months being billed under Rate Schedule CH -08 and any kilowatthours
registered during the Summer Months being added to those registered on
Customer's regular service meter for billing under Customer's regular service

This Rider is available for electric service furnished through one meter during
the Wintor space - heating season, as defined herein, under Company's General
Service (GS), Combined Lighting and Power (LP), and Industrial Power (IP) Rate
Schedules to Customers who have both five (5) tons or more of electric air -
conditioning connectec load supplying their total comfort cooling requirements
and five (5) kilowatts or more of permanently installed and regularly used
electric comfort space - heating equipment supplying their total comfort space -
heating requirements in the. electric air - conditioned areas.
The provisions of such rnte sr.hedules are modified only as shown herein.
DETERM I NA I I ON OF IIIILINC DEMAND
During the Wirier space- ncating season, the total ele(a ric service used by
Customer will be billed in accordance with the rate schedule to which this
rider is applied, except that:
Customer's monthly billing demand will be the measured maximum demand for the
month or the maximum demand established during the seven months immediately
preceding the beginning of the current Winter space- heating season, whichever
is higher, reduced by one (I) kilowatt for each rated ton of customer's
electric air - conditioning equipment, provided that:
Customer's monthly billing demand will riot be less than fifty percent (50 %)
of customer's maximum measured demand for the month or less than fifty percent
(50 %) of maximum demand established during said seven month's period.
Notwithstanding any provision hereof, the Cuslomer',: monthly billing demand
will not be more than the measured demand for the month and will not be less
than the Customer's minimum billing demand provided for in. the service contract
to which this rider is applied.
The electric air - conditioning connected load will be detc:rrninea by using
standard ratings for cooling as published by American Refrigeration Institute.
Where ARI ratings are not published, the certified rating by the manufacturer
at the standard design conditions recommended by American Society of Heating,
Refrigeration and Air - Conditioning Engineers for the specific location will
apply.
WINTER SPACE - HEATING SEASON
The Winter space - heating season will be the five months period beginning when
Customer's meter is read in the October 19 to November 19 meter reading period
and ending when the meter is read in the March 19 to April 19 meter reading
period.

WATER HEATING SERVICE RIDER
FOR
SINGLE METER SERVICE UNDER GS, LP, AND IP RATES
AVAILABILITY
This Rider is available for electric service furnished through one meter under
Company's General Service (GS), Combined Lighting and Power (LP), and Industrial
Power (IP) Rate Schedules to customers who have twenty -five (25) Kw or more of
connected load in electric water heating equipment, (except water heating equip-
ment for swimming pools) meeting the requirements specified herein and in regular
use supplying customer's total water heating requirements.
The provisions of such rate schedules are modified only as shown herein.
DETERMINATION OF BILLING DEMAND
The total electric service used by customer will be billed in accordance with
the rate schedule to which this rider is applied, except that customer's
monthly billing demand will be the maximum measured demand for the month reduced
by twenty -five (25) percent of customer's total connected Kw in electric water
heating equipment (except water heating equipment for swimming pools), provided
that:
Customer's monthly billing will not be reduced to an amount less than 50% of
the maximum demand established during the current month.
Notwithstanding any provision hereof, customer's monthly billing demand shall
not be less than the customer's minimum billing demand provided for in the
service contract to which this rider is applied.
SPECIFICATIONS FOR WATER HEATER INSTALLATIONS SERVED UNDER THIS RIDER
1. Total water heating load shall be 25 Kw or more.
2. The heating elements shall not exceed 225 watts per gallon of storage
tank capacity.
3. All dwelling units having provisions for individual laundry facilities must
have at least one 40 gallon capacity water heater when the dwelling unit is
provided with an individual water heater unit. If laundry facilities are
not provided for the individual dwelling unit, the water heater size may be
reduced to 30 gallon capacity. The capacity of any single dwelling unit
heating element shall not exceed 5,500 watts.
4. Only one element of a twin - element heater, such as a,water heater having
upper and lower elements designed for non - simultaneous operation, shall
be considered as connected load under this rider.

This Rider is not available for service to recurring seasonal loads.
The Company reserves the right to furnish such service only when proper
equipment is available at the location and when the conditions set out in this
schedule are met. Where it is necessary to set a meter or to provide any
additional facilities, the Customer will be charged with the total cost of
installing and removing the equipment, but not less than $5.00. An advance
deposit will be required sufficient to cover the estimated consumption for at
least a week or for the full duration of the service if less than a week,
together with the estimated cost of installing and removing the equipment.
BILLING
Service will be billed on the appropriate rate 'schedule.
I. When the Combined Lighting and Power Schedule is applicable, the demand
charge will be prorated on a daily basis and the energy will be billed
on the steps of the rate without proration. In any case, the minimum
charge will not be less than $10.00.
2. When a General Service Schedule is applicable, the energy will be billed
on the steps of the rate without proration. The minimum charge will be
determined as provided in the Rate Schedule and will be prorated on a
daily basis, but in any case, the minimum charge will not be less than
$10.00.

CONTRACT FOR STREET LIGHTING SERVICE
However, Customer may pay Company that portion of the installation cost of each lamp in excess of the
amount shown above and, upon such payment, Company will furnish such electrical energy and street light
service for the operation of said street sights. Such payment by Customer shall be non - refundable and Customer
shall not acquire any title in and to said facilities by reason of such payment. This provision shall also apply to e,�
furnishing of additional street light service provided for below under Paragraph 2
2. Company agrees to furnish, under the terms and conditions hereof, such additional street light service de-
scribed herein as Customer may request during the term of this agreement, but shall not be obligated to install
additional lamps where such installation would render useless ary existing facilities provided by Company under
this contract or if all lamps previously installed by Company under this contract are not in operation.
All street lights furnished and served by Company hereunder shall bum from dusk of each day until dawn
of the following day.
4. Company will bill Customer at intervals of approximately one month for electrical energy and street light-
ing service furnished hereunder at the rate prescribed in Company s Rate Schedule US-0, copy of which is hereto
appended and made a part hereof.
8. The Company will not be liable to any person, firm or corporation not a party to this contract for or on
account of damages resulting from interruption or inadequacy of service furnished hereunder. The Company will
exercise all reasonable diligence to furnish Customer at all times service as herein contracted for, but will not
�— be liable in damages for any interruption, deficiency or failure of service, except that the Company agrees to make
deductions for outages as provided below. The Company reserves the right to interrupt the service when such in-
terruption is necessary for repairs to its lights and equipment. Company will allow Customer rebates on monthly
bttls, for outages of street lights upon the following conditions, to -wit:
0. It an outage of a street light maintained by Company under this contract occurs, Customer shall notify the
Company promptly at its nearest office of such outage and Company will be allowed one working day, defined as
being between 10 A.%. and dusk of any day other than a Sunday or holiday, after such outage has been so re-
ported in which to restore the lamp to service. If Company fails to restore any lamp which it is obligated to main-
tain to service within one working day after official notice from Customer of the outage, Customer shall be en-
titled to a credit for the pro rata cost or charge by Company for such lamp for the period of time it remained out
subsequent to the expiration of one working day after official notice of the outage.
7. Customer will take from Company the electrical energy and street lighting service described in Paragraph
1, above, and such additional street lighting services as Customer may request during the term hereof, and, within
ten days of date of bill therefor, pay for such electrical energy and service, at the rate prescribed in Company's
Rate Schedule MS -8.
8. Customer, at its own cost and expense, will furnish Company all rights of way, permits, easements and
franchises necessary for the performance of this agreement.
9. If, during the term of this agreement, or any extension thereof, a lower rate is made available by Company
for street lighting service, Customer shall receive the benefit of such lower rate, and bill hereunder will be com-
puted and rendered by Company and paid by Customer at such lower rate.
CONTRACT FOR STREET LIGHTING SERVICE
10. Past due bills shall bear interest at the rate of six percent (tl %) per annum. If Customer shall default in
any payment due hereunder, Company, at its option, after twenty days written notice to Customer, may discontinue
pervice until payment is made, provided, the exercise by Company of this right shall not lessen or change Cus-
tomer's obligations hereunder nor affect the amount which shall become due and payable hereunder W Comp&,'
by Customer.
11. This agreement majr not be assigned without the written consent of Company.
12. Waiver of one or more defaults shall not be considered a waiver of any other or subsequent defaults.
13. This agreement supercedes and cancels all prior agreements, representations, promises and inducements,
written or verbal, made with respect to the matters herein contained. No modification of any provision of this agree-
ment shall be binding unless reduce to writing and signed by authorized officers of the parties hereto.
14. This agreement shall remain in effect for a term of five years commencing on the
day of 19--, and thereafter from year to year, unless and until terminated by
written notice from either party to the other at least ninety (90) days prior to the expiration date or any other subse-
quent anniversary date

AVAILABILITY
This Rider is available to any customer having a contract with the
Company for the lighting of public streets on Company's standard
Street Lighting Service Rate MS -6, and is applicable under the regular
terms and conditions of said contract.
TYPE OF SERVICE
Service is to an ornamental type unit consisting of a metal pole
mounted on a concrete base, with a 7,000 Lumen mercury vapor lamp in
a promenade -type luminalre of aluminum finish.
Company will own, install, and maintain lighting equipment and will
furnish and control the electric energy necessary for dusk -to -dawn,
every night, lighting service.
MONTHLY RATE
$3.75 per month per lamp.
INSTALLATIONS
Company reserves the right to restrict lamp installations under this
rate to areas which are easily accessible by service truck.

MUNICIPAL GENERAL PUMPING
AVAILABILITY
Incorporated Municipalities
This schedule is available under written contract to incorporated
municipalities in which the Company is operating under a municipal
franchise, for electric power for full power requirements for the
oneration of municipally operated sewage, disposal and /or drainage
systems, each location to be served at one voltage, through one
meter, and billed separately.
Other Utilities and Public Agencies:
This schedule is available under written contract for electric power
for full power requirements for the operation of water supply,
sewage and /or drainage systems, other than municipally owned, serving
the general public, each location to be served at one voltage,
through one meter, and billed separately.
NET MONTHLY RATE
1.54 per kilowatt hour for the fjrst 5,000 kilowatt hours
1.04 per kilowatt hour for the next 10,000 kilowatt hours
0.B4 per kilowatt hour for the next 135,000 kilowatt hours
0.74 per kilowatt hour for the next 100,000 kilowatt hours
0.64 per kilowatt hour for all additional kilowatt hours

2.0¢ per kilowatt hour for the first 5,000 kilowatt hours
1.5¢ per kilowatt hour for the next 15,000 kilowatt hours
1.0¢ per kilowatt hour for all additional kilowatt hours

$1.00 per meter

TRAFFIC SIGNAL SERVICE
AVAILABILITY
This schedule is available under written contract to Municipalities, Counties, and the State Highway
Department for electric service to traffic control signals and signs, where the signals and signs and related
facilities are owned, operated, and maintained by the Customer, and where service facilities of suitable
voltage are adjacent to the location to be served. -
NET MONTHLY RATE
(A) Flasher Type Signals
(1) $1.50 per month for a fixture having not more than 75 watts in lamps connected
(2) When the total wattage of the fixture or fixtures served by one service drop exceeds 75 watts,
billing will be at the rate of two cents (2 q ) per kilowatt hour used. Monthly Kwh use,for
billing purposes, will be estimated by Company, based on data supplied by Customer on each
signal's wattage and hours of operation, but the monthly charge will be not less than $1.50.
(B) Stop and Go Type Signals
(1) $0.90 per month per Control Face.
(C) Sign Lighting (Freeways & Highways)
(1) Electric service furnished for the lighting of traffic directing signs operated and controlled by
and through a Customer owned street lighting system will be billed at the rate of 1.14 per Kwh,
Monthly Kwh use, for billing purposes, will be estimated on the basis of Information supplied
by Customer on each signs wattage and hours of operation.
(2) Signs served by individual service drops, where the signs are not served by the same circuit and
controls as the street lighting system, will be billed at the rate of 2.09 per Kwh, but not less
than $1.50 per month for each point of delivery. Monthly Kwh use will be estimated as in C(1)
above.
DESCRIPTION OF CONTROL FACE
The word "Control Face" as used in this schedule means the entire side or section of a fixture used to
control automobile and /or pedestrain traffic approaching from one direction.
SIZE OF LAMPS USED
The above rate for stop and go signals is based on the use of lamps of 75 watts or less. In case individual
lamps larger than 75 watts are used, the rate will be increased proportionally.
TERMS OF PAYMENT
All Bills under this schedule shell be due and payable within tan days from date of bill. Pest due bills
shall bear Interest at the rate of 5%a per annum.
