AN ORDINANCE
AMMING THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CORPUS
CHRISTI ADOPTED ON THE 27TH DAY OF AUGUST, 19373
APPEARING OF RECORD IN VOLU.E 9, PAGES 565, ET SEQ,
OF THE ORDINANCE AND RESOLUTION RECORDS, AS AIENDED
FROM TIM—E TO T11ME AND PARTICULARLY AS AMENDED BY
ORDINANCE NO. 6106, AS AMENDED, UPON APPLICATION OF
REYES CASTILLO BY
MENDING THE ZONING MAP BY CHANGING THE ZONING ON
PORTION OF LOT 6, BLOCK 27, MEADOW PARR ADDITION,
SITUATED IN THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, NUL•CES
COUNTY, TEXAS, FROM "R -1B" ONE FAMILY DWELLING
DISTRICT TO "B -4" GENERAL BUSINESS
DISTRICT ; KEEPING IN EFFECT ALL OTHER
PROVISIONS OF THE EXISTING ORDINANCE AS AMENDED;
REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT_ HEMITH...
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has forwarded to the City
Council its reports and recommendations concerning the application of
Reyes Castillo for amendment
to the zoning map of the City of Corpus Christi; and
WHEREAS, public hearing was held at which hearing all persons
wishing to appear and be heard were heard, to consider the same before
the City Council of the City of Corpus Christi, in accordance with proper
notice to the public, said public hearing having been held on Wednesday,
Sentember 18. 1974 ,L at Special Council Meeting of the City
Council in the Council Chamber at City Hall in the City of Corpus
Christi; and
WHEREAS, by motion duly made, seconded and carried, it was
decided by the City Council that to approve the hereinafter set forth
amendment would best serve public health, necessity and convenience and
the general welfare of the City of Corpus Christi and its citizens:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAIVED- BY.THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS:
SECTION I. That the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Corpus
Christi, Texas, passed on the 27th day of August, 1937, appearing of
record in Volume 9, Pages 565, et seq, of the Ordinance and Resolution
P,ecords, as amended from time to time, and in particular as amended by
Ordinance No. 6106, as amended, be and the same is hereby amended by
mcking the change hereinafter set out.

SECTION 2. That the hereinafter more particularly described portion
of Lot 6, Block 27, Meadow Park Addition, situated in the City of Corpus
Christi, Texas, be and the same is hereby rezoned from "R -1B" One Family
Dwelling District to "B -4" General Business District:
Being a portion of Lot 6, Block 27, Meadow Park
Addition as recorded in Volume 4, page 52, Nueces'
County Map Records, Nueces County, Texas.
Beginning at the northeast corner of Lot 6, such
point also being the southeast corner of Lot 7,
Block 27, and also being on the west right of way
line of Virginia Avenue;
THENCE South 2° 16 minutes east for a distance of
40' to a point for corner;
THENCE South 879 44 minutes west for a distance of
135' to a point for corner, such point being on
the common boundary line between Lots 6 and 13, Block 27;
THENCE North 20 16 minutes west for a distance of
40' to a point for corner, such point being the common
boundary line of Lots 6, 7, 12 & 13, Block 27;
THENCE North 87° 44 minutes east for a distance of
approximately 135'to the place of beginning, such
area containing 0.12 acres, more or less.
SECTION 3. That the official zoning map of the City of Corpus
Christi, Texas, be, and the same is hereby, amended as herein ordained.
SECTION 4. That the Zoning Ordinance and Map of the City of
Corpus Christi, Texas, approved on the 27th day of August, 1937, as
amended from time to time, except as herein changed, shall ruin in
full force and effect.
SECTION 5. That all- ordinances or parts of ordinances in con-
flict herewith are hereby expressly repealed.
