AN ORDINANCE
AMENDING THE CORPUS CHRISTI CITY CODE, AS
AMENDED, BY AMENDING SUBSECTION (a) OF
SECTION 21 -153, SO AS TO ADD TO THE SCHEDULE
OF ONE -WAY TRAFFIC ON SOUTHERN STREET FROM
BROWNLEE BOULEVARD AND ALAMEDA STREET BETWEEN
THE HOURS OF 2:00 P.M. AND 4:00 P.M., ON
SCHOOL DAYS ONLY ;REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES IN
CONFLICT HEREWITH; PROVIDING FOR PUBLICATION.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS
CHRISTI, TEXAS
SECTION 1. That Section 21 -153 of the Corpus Christi
City Code, 1958, as amended, be and the same is hereby amended
by amending subsection (a) of Section 21-153 so as to.add to the
schedule of one -way streets, an item reading as follows:
DIRECTION OF
NAME OF STREET MOVEMENT EFFECTIVE TIMES
Southern Street, between East 2:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M.
Brownlee Blvd. and On School Days only
Alameda Street
SECTION 2. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances
in conflict herewith be and the same are repealed to the extent
of such conflict.
SECTION 3. Publication shall be made one time in the
official publication of the City of Corpus Christi, which publi-
cation shall contain the caption stating in substance the purpose
of the ordinance.
