CAMPBELL AND WIFE, PAULINE CAMPBELL, IN CONNEC- TION WITH THE JACKSON TERRACE SANITARY SEWER PROJECT, NO. 250 -70 -80.6; APPROPRIATING OUT OF THE NO. 250 SANITARY SEWER BOND FUND $950 FOR ACQUISITION OF THE AFORESAID UTILITY EASEMENT; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, SECTION 1. That authorization is hereby given for acceptance by the City of Corpus Christi from M. L. Campbell and wife, Pauline Campbell, the following described utility easement in connection with the Jackson Terrace Sanitary Sewer Project, No. 250- 70 -8.6: • Being tract of land out of Lots 5 and 6, Shell Road Poultry Acres as shown by map of record in Volume 5, page 40, Map Records, Nueces County, Texas, and being out of that certain tract in the name of M. L. Campbell and wife Pauline Campbell described in Volume 480, page 478, Deed Records, Nueces County, Texas, said tract being more particularly described by metes and bounds as follows: Beginning at the most westerly corner of said Lot 6, in the southeast line of the Seadrift Pipeline Corporation tract for the most westerly and beginning corner of the tract herein described; Thence N. 350 29' 31" E. a distance of 455.00 feet along the northwest boundary line of said Lots 5 and 6, Shell Road Poultry Acres to a point which is the most northerly corner of said Lot 5; Thence S. 540 41' 47" E. a distance of 10.0 feet along the northwest boundary line of said Lot 5 to a point for the most easterly corner of the tract herein described; Thence S. 350 29' 31" W. a distance of 445.26 feet along a line that is parallel to and 10.0 feet east of the westerly boundary line of said Lots 5 and 6 to a point for an interior corner of the herein described tract; Thence S. 530 10' 34" E. a distance of 540.0 feet along a line that is 10.0 feet northeast of and parallel to the southwest boundary line of said Lot 6 to a point in the northeasterly extension of the centerline of Church Street for the most easterly corner of the tract herein described; Thence S. 350 29' 31" W. a distance of 10.0 feet along the northeasterly extension of the centerline of Church Street to a point in the southwest boundary line of said Lot 6 for the most southerly corner of the tract herein described; Thence N. 530 10' 34" W. a distance of 550.0 feet along the southwest boundary line of said Lot 6 to the point of beginning and containing 9,949.89 square feet, more or less. Together with a 30 foot wide temporary construction easement adjacent to the above described Utility Easement, to expire one year from date of execution of the said Utility Easement. 1F 3iS SECTION 2. There is hereby appropriated out of the No. 250 Sanitary Sewer Bond Fund $950 for acquisition of the aforesaid utility easement. SECTION 3. The necessity to appropriate the hereinabove described sums and authorizing acceptance from the owners of the utility easement in connection with the Jackson Terrace Sanitary Sewer Project in order that the project may continue without delay creates a public emergency and an imperative public necessity requiring the suspension of the Charter rule that no ordinance or resolution shell be passed finally on the date of its introduction but that such ordinance or resolution shall be read at three several meetings of the City Council, and the Mayor having declared such emergency and necessity to exist, and having requested the suspension of the Charter rule and that this ordinance be passed finally on the date of its introduction and take effect and be in full force and effect from and after its passage, IT IS ACCORDINGLY SO ORDAINED, this the j��d y of October, 1974. FIN 2 -55 Revised 7/31/69 rector oVFinance • Corpus Christi, Texas .J (Q day of 19_7� TO THE MEMBERS OF THE CITY COUNCIL Corpus Christi, Texas For the reasons set forth in the emergency clause of the foregoing ordinance, a public emergency and imperative necessity exist for the suspen- sion of the Charter rule or requirement that no ordinance or resolution shall be passed finally on the date it is introduced, and that such ordinance or resolution shall be read at three meetings of the City Council; I, therefore, request that you suspend said Charter rule or requirement and pass this ordi- nance finally on the date it is introduced, or at the present meeting of the City Council.
