AN ORDINANCE
AMENDING THE CORPUS CHRISTI CITY CODE, AS AMENDED
BY AMENDING SECTION 21 -131, PARKING METER ZONES
ESTABLISHED, BY AMENDING SUBSECTION (a), METER
ZONE NO. 1, SO AS TO DELETE ITEM (5), UPPER BROAD-
WAY - BLUCHER STREET TO LIPAN STREET, AND ADDING TO
SUBSECTION (c), METER ZONE NO. 3, THE STREET, UPPER
BROADWAY - BLUCHER STREET TO LIPAN STREET; AMENDING
SECTION 21 -155, SCHEDULE III, "PARKING PROHIBITED
AT ALL TIMES ON CERTAIN STREETS ", BY ADDING THERETO
AN ITEM TO THE EFFECT OF PROHIBITING PARKING AT
ALL TIMES ON THE EAST SIDE OF NORTH TANCAHUA STREET,
FROM A POINT 190 FEET NORTH OF MESTINA STREET TO A
POINT 225 FEET NORTH OF LIPAN STREET; PROVIDING FOR
PUBLICATION.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS
CHRISTI, TEXAS:
SECTION 1. That the Corpus Christi City Code, as amended,
Section 21 -131, Parking Meter Zones Established, be and the same is
hereby amended by amending Subsection (a), Meter Zone No. 1, so as to
delete Item (5), Upper Broadway - Blucher Street to Lipan Street, and
adding to Subsection (c), Meter Zone No. 3, the street, Upper Broadway -
Blucher Street to Lipan Street, on which parking shall be limited to one
hour upon the deposit of a five -cent coin or two hours upon the deposit
of two five -cent coins or one dime coin, between the hours of 5:00 A.M.
and 6:00 P.M. on any day except Sundays and holidays officially set by
the City Council, and except Saturday afternoon.
SECTION 2. That the Corpus Christi City Code, as amended, be
amended by amending Section 21 -155, SCHEDULE III - PARKING PROHIBITED AT
ALL TIMES ON CERTAIN STREETS, by adding the following item, to hereafter
read as follows:
NORTH TANCAHUA STREET, east side, from a point
190 feet north of Mest1na Street to a point
225 feet north of Lipan Street.
SECTION 3. Publication shall be made one time in the official
publication of the City of Corpus Christi, by publishing the caption
of this ordinance, stating in substance the purpose of the ordinance.
